Emmie’s Picks – Priceline 50% Cosmetics Sale

Sound the alarm folks, it’s Priceline Sale time again. But this time, they have gone all out with a whopping 50% off cosmetics! The sale starts today and ends on Thursday. And even though not everything is on sale (sorry Essence and Napolean Perdis fans), there is still plenty to get excited over. So I decided to once again raid my makeup collection and name my top 5 picks for the sale.

L’OREAL INFALLIBLE MATTE FOUNDATION – $14.98
Lets start with an oldie but a goodie, the L’oreal Infallible Matte foundation is easily one of the best long wear foundations I have ever used. It applies beautifully to the skin and it leaves a smooth, matte finish that lasts all day without breaking down or getting excessively oily. If you’re in the market for a matte, longwear foundation, this one comes highly recommended by me!

RIMMEL KATE SCULPTING KIT BRONZING PALETTE – $8.48
I could easily mention all three of the new Rimmel face palettes, but this was the one that I put in my favourites last month and for good reason. These powders are pigmented, yet so easy to blend and great for everyday wear. The powders have an almost rosy hue to them which is a look I love for this time of year.

MAYBELLINE MASTER CHROME METALLIC HIGHLIGHTER – $9.98
This. Highlighter. Is. Everything! If you love a good gold highlighter, this is such a great buy. You would swear it was high end, it’s that smooth, pigmented and blingy! I haven’t been able to stop wearing it, especially with a super bronzed look. It also works really well on the eyes too for a pop of shine to the lids.

MAYBELLINE COLOSSAL BIG SHOT MASCARA – $9.98
Maybelline makes some of my favourite drugstore mascaras and the Colossal Big Shot is my ride or die from them. It’s a pretty big wand, but it’s still able to be used to get the tiny inner lashes. It holds a curl, volumises and lengthens with ease, all without looking clumpy or spidery. And the best part, this mascara doesn’t budge on me at all! If you work in a hot environment, you need to try this mascara!

AUSTRALIS GRLBOSS DEMI MATTE LIP CREAM – $7.48
These have been my absolute obsession as of late! They go on like a super pigmented gloss but as they dry down, it almost magically transforms to the most comfortable matte lipstick that lasts for ages on the lips without drying them out. I now own five of these and I do plan to buy more. And as a bonus, they smells so freaking good!
