One week later, I have my Melbourne holiday haul. I have to say, I know that this looks like a lot. But this ended up being much smaller than I anticipated. Many of the items that were on my wishlist were out of stock at every location I went to. So, I guess a future haul is in the works. I ended up hitting up Sephora, Mecca, Chemist Warehouse, Hairhouse, and La Cosmetique for this haul. And I’ve sorted everything into product categories (figured that would be easier). So, all that’s left is to share what I picked up.
We’ll start with the boring stuff. One of my first purchases was a second bottle of the GO TO SKINCARE CLARIFYING FACE HERO. I said I was going to get this and I’m a woman of my word. Next was the K18 AIRWASH DRY SHAMPOO. This has been all over my TikTok feed and I am almost out of my existing dry shampoo. Another thing I was lured by TikTok to buy was the GEM SALTED CARAMEL & VANILLA SKIN LOVING DEODORANT. 100% worth it. It smells like caramel popcorn in the best way. I also grabbed some of the HISMILE TOOTHBRUSH HEAD REFILLS because I can’t get these in town anymore.
Next up is base products. I finally was able to get my hands on the UNLEASHIA SATIN WEAR HEALTHY GREEN CUSHION FOUNDATION. I’ve seen this everywhere on Instagram. Expect my review soon. I grabbed two concealers. The TOO FACED BORN THIS WAY MULTI USE SCULPTING CONCEALER in CREAM PUFF (which I’ve added to my stash), and the HAUS LABS TRICLONE SKIN TECH CONCEALER in 03 FAIR ROSY. I know she looks super light, but I wanted a lighter shade for winter and also for mixing into too deep foundations.
Moving onto cheek products. This might be where I went the most feral. I got my hands on the RIMMEL MULTI TASKER 3 in 1 BRONZING STICK in LIGHT. Oddly, I’ve heard no one talk about this. But I do love the Multi Tasker line. One that I’ve seen pop up though is the L’OREAL LUMI LE GLASS HIGHLIGHTER STICK in PINK BALLET. This is so gorgeous and I’m so excited to try it. One product that I have already tried from this haul is the new MAYBELLINE LIFTER STIX in shades 05, 20, and 65. I have a video on my TikTok going through my first impressions.
I said I was going to do it. And I did. I picked up every shade of the new TOWER 28 GET SET POWDER BLUSHES. Pictured are the shades Feliz Fresca, Culver Crush, Long Beach Iced Tea, Samo Spritzer, Malibu Cooler, Sawtelle Slushie, and Pali Punch (this last one I already owned and sadly won’t be available at Mecca)
Getting into eyes now, I tried my hardest to get my hands on the now viral MAC Extra Dimension Eyeshadow in Sweet Heat. But she was sold out at every counter I went to (Elizabeth’s influence is unmatched). I did, however, managed to get my hands on one of her other favourite shades. The MAC EXTRA DIMENSION EYESHADOW in SMOKEY MAUVE. A stunning cool tone lilac. I also grabbed a MAC SINGLE EYESHADOW in HONEY LUST. A warm, light bronzy shade that is perfect for all over the lid.
I also picked up a HALF MAGIC SPARKLESTIK EYE CRAYON in FROSTIWINKLE. And in a huge move for me, I grabbed the MORPHE ROSE TO FAME 9 PAN EYESHADOW PALETTE. This is my first Morphe palette in over 8 years. And I’m so curious to see if the formula has improved since they got bought out.
You know me, I couldn’t leave without a few mascaras. The Makeup By Mario one was sold out at the 3 Sephora’s I visited. But I did manage to find the HAUS LABS VOLUMISING + LENGTHENING MASCARA. Review coming soon.I also grabbed three shades of the MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL SKY HIGH MASCARA in TWILIGHT PLUM, BLUE MIST, and BURGUNDY. Not sure if I will review these properly (I already know this formula rules). But if you want me to, let me know.
Finally, we hae the lips. And I have to say, I’m shocked at the restraint I showed here. I got one of the new DIOR LIP GLOW BUTTER in TOFFEE (I’m a sucker for a charm). The COVERGIRL YUMMY PLUMPER GLOSS in SNOW PLACE LIKE HOME. The GLOSSIER LIP GLAZE in MELTY. The NYX DUCK PLUMPING LINER in PINKJECTION. And the FWEE LIP AND CHEEK PUDDING POT in LIKE.
And that is everything I grabbed in Melbourne. I also picked up some cute pins and keychains from Oz Comic Con. I might share them on my stories. But I am all shopped out for the minute… Or am I? The makeup waits for no one! I hope you are all having an awesome week and I’ll be back in Friday!
