Summer has well and truly started here in Australia. Luckily, BellaBox has my back with the November box being all about summer beauty. There are a lot of things for me to go through so let’s get into it!
STEVE LAURENT LIP TINT in Nude Pop – $31.00
This was the hero product for November. And as someone who loves herself a nude lip, this product is very welcome to my collection. The choice to have it in a pot is interesting, but the packaging is very luxe (I’m a sucker for anything rose gold).
ESSIE TREAT LOVE AND COLOUR – $17.95
This is apparently a new product in Essie’s line where the idea is that the nails get treated as well as coloured. Which is actually a great idea. And while the colour is very pretty, I’m still an acrylic nail wearer. So this will get passed along to someone who will appreciate it more.
NYX TINTED BROW MASCARA in Chocolate – $12.95
Having recently dyed my hair a much darker shade of brown, this product couldn’t have come a moment sooner. I haven’t heard much about NYX brow products (though I am a fan of their brow pencil) so I’m excited to try this out!
DOVE NOURISHING MOISTURE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER – $6.89ea.
Another product that will probably get passed on to someone else. I noticed immediately that the shampoo contained Sodium Laureth Sulfates and I have made a real conscious effort to avoid products that contain that over the last year. Which is a shame, because I always like having mini shampoos and conditioners on hand for trips.
HAWAIIAN TROPIC SILK HYDRATION LOTION – $16.99
With my job being pretty much outside, I do wear sunscreen all the time and I go through SPF 50+ products pretty quickly. So this is a very welcome addition. It contains UVA and UVB protection as well as being super hydrating on the skin. It also smells fabulous to boot!
And there we go! A few misses this month. But the hits are big hits that will definitely get used by me. Now I’m super excited for December’s box. Which I might actually get in December! Finger’s crossed!
