In case you’ve missed it, Chemist Warehouse is in the middle of one of their biggest sales of the year. Basically everything is discounted in one way or another. But the biggie is that they are doing half price on their entire cosmetics range! Maybelline, Revlon, Nyx, Rimmel, L’Oreal, Covergirl, that other brand, all 50% off! That’s crazy!
Now, it’s been ages since I last did a drugstore specific sales post. And the drugstore launches have been popping off at the moment. So I wanted to share a few recommendations for the sale that I genuinely love. None of my picks will be surprises for those who are regular readers. I suspect that many of these will end up in my end of year favourites. But these are my must buys for the sale.
REVLON ILLUMINANCE MOISTURE + PRIME BALM PRIMER – $36.00
My favourite primer discovery of 2025, this creates the perfect base for pretty much every foundation that I’ve paired it with. It’s smoothing, hydrating, and feels weightless on the skin. I have raved about this for a reason and I keep returning to it. It’s that good!
RIMMEL LASTING FINISH FOUNDATION – $26.95
It’s been a long time since a drugstore foundation has impressed me as much as this one has. If you need a foundation that is going to lock in and do the damn thing, you have to try this one. The finish is stunning and it’s so lightweight despite it being marketed as full coverage. The shade range should also be commended as being very expansive and one of the few in the drugstore to incorporate olive and red tones in the line.
NYX BUTTAMELT BRONZER – $23.99
I’ve spent the last year raving about this bronzer. It’s easily one of the best in the drugstore. Like the name suggests, it goes on like butter. The finish has the most subtle luminosity. It really gives life back to the face. This basically has a permanent place in my stash, that’s how often I return to it.
MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL SKY HIGH MASCARA in BURGUNDY HAZE – $25.99
The OG Maybelline Sky High is an all timer for me. The lift and length it gives has to be seen to be believed. And now, Maybelline has launched multiple shades in the Sky High Range. While all three of the shades are fantastic, Burgundy Haze has been the standout. If you have even a hint of green to your eyes, you need this mascara in your life. The pop of deep burgundy gives the lashes a gorgeous, natural hue and will make your eyes pop.
COVERGIRL YUMMY PLUMPER GLOSS – $23.95
Now, I’ve spoken on here about my feels towards plumping lip glosses over the years. I feel like I should clarify that statement. Personally speaking, I do not like plumping glosses that are capsaicin based (i.e. chili). Menthol based plumpers, on the other hand, give them to me! I love that minty fresh feeling. And the Yummy Plumper Gloss from Covergirl has quickly become my favourite. I have the shade Snow Place Like Home, which is such a cute name, and the formula is top notch. Super cooling on the lips, not at all sticky, and with a good amount of pigment to boot. I hear no one talking about these, so I’m more than happy to shout them out!
