You remember how I said last month that August took forever? Scratch that. THIS month took for freaking ever! But on the bright side, the empties were pretty rocking. I have quite a few to get through this month. Including a couple that probably should have been included in previous empties. Let’s get into it!

ELF LASH XTENDER MASCARA – $18.00
Up until early August, this mascara was a contender for my favourite drugstore mascara for the year. Now, it and the rest of ELF’s range is excluded from contention. Don’t work with misogynistic pricks.
NIOD FLAVANONE MUD – $61.00
I probably have one more use left in here. But I’ll call time on it now. It’s such a longtime favourite at this point. I’ll pick up another for sure, but I’ll hold out until Slowvember before I do.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY AIRBRUSH FLAWLESS SETTING SPRAY – $56.00 for 100ml
The best setting spray on the market. Don’t @ me.
OLAPLEX NO. 4 BOND MAINTENANCE SHAMPOO – $54.00 for 250ml
I don’t know, y’all. After using other awesome haircare products, I’m not quite as enamored with Olaplex as I once was. This was solid for when I was in a pinch. But I wouldn’t rush out and get it again.
THE INKEY LIST POLYGLUTAMIC ACID DEWY SUNSCREEN SPF 30 – $31.00
I’ve had this sitting empty in my work bathroom for an embarrassingly long time. Was a pretty solid option while I had it. Especially during winter when I don’t mind a lower SPF. But for obvious reasons, I won’t be repurchasing (though, if you are interested, it looks like Space NK does carry it and ships to Australia).

HI-SMILE PURPLE SQUISHIE TOOTHPASTE – $13.00
Ahh, a rare Dennis empty. I wasn’t wild about this one. But he really liked it!
DAISO PUFF SPONGE DETERGENT – $3.80
While I still draw breath, I will use this for my sponges. And fortunately, my folks picked me up a few more bottles when they were last in Brisbane.
RARE BEAUTY ALWAYS AN OPTIMIST 4 in 1 SETTING MIST – $27.00
My other favourite setting spray. Criminally underrated. Definitely want to grab another one.
COLOR WOW DREAM COAT SUPERNATURAL STYLING SPRAY – $21.00
This product just confused me. I’m not sure I was using it right. In any case, I like my $16 heat protectant way better.

THE BREAKOUT HACK REBOUND ONE NIGHT STAND SOOTHING GEL FACIAL MASK – $44.95
*clicks fingers* Icon! Will repurchase.
LANEIGE BOUNCY & FIRM SERUM – $65.00
Another favourite done. Loved this a ton. I’ll probably pick up another one during the next Sephora/Adore Beauty sale. Unless Laneige wants to do Sis a favour?
ROSE INC SKIN ENHANCE LUMINOUS SKIN TINT – $85.00
I’ve been working quietly on this one behind the scenes for ages. So proud of myself for getting through it. I might repurchase one day.
RHODE SKIN GLAZING MILK – $32.00USD
And that is the last of the big Rhode Skin goodies that I picked up (still have the lip treatment though). This is a winter must have for my skin. But I will admit to preferring the TBH one a little more. That one I can get easily here. Unless Rhode wants to start shipping internationally? (I’m full of ideas and suggestions today)

BEAUTE PACIFIQUE SOFTLY EXFOLIATING BODY SCRUB – $68.00*
And this has been sitting in my shower for an embarrassingly long time. In my defense, it’s in a different spot to the rest of my body care. In any case, this was fine. More in shower lotion than a real scrub. But it’s way too expensive for me to think about purchasing again.
HARIFICATION PURE GROW SHAMPOO – $25.00*
Still my favourite affordable haircare range, period. I am, however, giving the Hairification a rest so I can try other brands.
EVERYDAY BY FRANK BODY NOURISHING BODY WASH – $14.00
Have I gone through hundreds of bottles of the Everyday Body Wash range? Yes. Will I go through a hundred more? Also yes. I think I have 3 spare in my cupboard.
GEM SALTED CARAMEL & VANILLA SKIN LOVING DEODORANT – $10.50
So, Gem has so many viral scents in their deodorant range. Why have I heard no one talk about the Salted Caramel & Vanilla? Because this is absolutely majestic! Easily my favourite from the whole range. I need this in a body mist and body cream immediately!
And that is a wrap on the empties. I always like when my empties post lands on the actual end of the month. It means I can start October with a clean slate and empty empties box! Let me know what you used up in September in the comments.
Cheers and love
Emily xo
