Well folks, we are finally reaching the end of my 2025 Best Of series. And I can’t think of a better way to wrap this up than with my favourite haircare and body care products. 2025 was actually a very strong year for bodycare in particular. I discovered quite a few new staples that I’m excited to share. And you know that I’m very much on my haircare journey. So there are a few newbies that have made their way into my favourites pile. So, let’s get into it!

We’ll start with hair again. And I can sum up my favourites with two K’s. Kerastase and K18. These two cult favourite brands were my hair saviours during the year. The KERASTASE PREMIERE DECALCIFYNG REPAIRING SHAMPOO – $65.00, the KERASTASE PREMIERE REPAIRING FONDANT CONDITIONER – $78.00, and the K18 PEPTIDE PREP DETOX SHAMPOO – $59.95 has quicky become my shampoo and conditioner combo as of late. For those who don’t know, I live in a mining town. And as a result, my hair and scalp deal with a ton of build up over time. Not to mention all of the treatments I do. The Kerastase is what I use on my regular wash nights to help keep my scalp and hair healthy. The K18 I use when my hair is particularly gross and needs a little extra love.

OK, a more random favourite that I wanted to shout out. The ANKO SHAMPOO BRUSH – $4.00. I use this every time I wash my hair to ensure the shampoo is actually getting evenly distributed across my scalp. It has the additional bonus of being a cheeky little head massage too.

I’ve really gotten into the hair treatments as of late. With the big standout being the KERASTASE NURTITIVE 8HR NIGHT HAIR SERUM – $99.00. It’s so expensive, but so good at smoothing my frizz and conditioning my ends. I absolutely swear by this and I have repurchased it just so I can have it back in my stash (yeah, the dupe isn’t working out).
Next up, the K18 AIRWASH DRY SHAMPOO – $84.95. I didn’t want to love this. I really didn’t. But when I used it for the first time, I was blown away. And I regret to inform you that this is the real deal. I am a dry shampoo connoisseur. I use them very regularly in my day to day life. But I’ve never tried one that worked this well and got me to go without washing my hair for so long. I can get 5-6 days between washes when I use this. K18 are magicians, I swear.
Lastly for hair, I have the PEOPLE HEAT PROTECTANT SPRAY – $16.00. This one was actually recommended to me by one of my hair stylists. And I love how lightweight this spray is. My hair doesn’t feel filmy or weighed down when I use it. I also use it in the morning when I’m not styling to protect my hair from the intense Mount Isa sun (my hair stylist gave me that tip. Thanks Shae!)

Let’s move into the shower again with some body care faves. Unsurprisingly, I have no new body wash faves (I’m still going through all of my bottles of Everyday By Frank Body). But Frank Body does make the list with the FRANK BODY MAGNESIUM BODY SCRUB – $28.00. This stuff is incredible. Salty, scrubby, soothing, slippery. I hope that Frank makes this a permanent part of the range. It’s too good to be limited edition.
Staying with scrubs, TREE HUT VANILLA SHEA SUGAR SCRUB – $22.00. Yes, at long last, Tree Hut is finally available in Australia. And it was so worth the wait. I love how chunky this scrub is. And the scent lingers for so long on the skin.
It continues to be a banner year for Gem. The GEM SKIN LOVING SHAVE GEL – $10.00 actually got me excited to shave my legs. And I hate shaving my legs. I love how silky soft it makes my skin feel after shaving and how a little bit goes such a long way. The scent is also just delicious.

Staying with skin feel (gross), I have two new moisturisers to add to the favourites pile. We all know that Palmer’s makes one of the best body lotions on the market. But the PALMER’S TAHITIAN VANILLA DAILY BODY LOTION – $13.00? My god. It’s everything I could want and so much more.
Finally, the AVEENO MOISTURISING BODY OIL MIST – $19.50. I use this as my very last step after I moisturise to lock all of that hydration in. I love that this is a mist. It makes it incredibly easy to use without a ton of mess. And a little bit goes such a long way.
And that is a wrap on not only my favourite hair and body care, but my Best Of Series! I want to thank you all so much for reading. I always love doing this series. But it’s now time to dive on into 2026 and see what beauty goodies we have to look forward to there!
Cheers and love
