Emmie’s Empties – January 2026

Well, that’s the first month of 2026 finally over. Did that feel like forever for anyone else? I think the most shocking part of it though is that fact that I have barely any empties. That’s right, this is another baby edition. With a handful of empties that really should have been in last month’s line up. Let’s go!

DR JART CERAMIDIN SKIN BARRIER MOISTURISING MASK – $69.00 for pack of 5
Should probably just copy and paste what I said last time, to be honest. In any case, these are solid. Expensive, but solid.

MAC FIX + STAY OVER SETTING SPRAY – $37.00
One of the cuts from my best list. Lowkey, this is excellent and you are all sleeping on it!

CLEAR SKINCARE MOISTURE + HYDRATING SERUM – $60.00*
Loved that this had a slightly thicker consistency. Was the smack of hydration my skin needed. I would definitely get again

GUNK OFF HYDRATING GEL CLEANSER – $52.00*
An all timer, to be sure. The only reason why I haven’t repurchased already is because I have so many other cleansers I need to finish first.

HAIRIFICATION PURE GROW CONDITIONER – $25.00*
Still my favourite haircare range from the drugstore. But I’m going to give it a break for a minute and explore some other ranges.

NATRIUM MULTI PEPTIDE MOISTURISER – $38.00
Thank god Naturium finally launched at Sephora. This is still my absolute favourite moisturiser of all time. People who disagree can argue with the wall!

KERASTASE PREMIERE DECALCIFYNG REPAIRING SHAMPOO – $65.00
A best of 2025 winner. The difference this range has made to my hair is incredible. I can’t believe it took me this long to jump on the Kerastase train. But now, I’m never getting off.

KERASTASE PREMIERE REPAIRING FONDANT CONDITIONER – $78.00
See above!

GLISTEN COSMETICS SPECTRA LASH MASCARA in PURPLE – $25.00
Ok, time for a mascara roundup! Firstly, I enjoyed this formula a ton. However the shade of purple blended in a little too naturally for my liking.

TOO FACED RIBBON WRAPPED LASH MASCARA – $50.00
Another cut from the favourites list. If I wasn’t wearing the Max Vol Mascara between reviews, I was wearing this. Phenomenal formula.

RIMMEL KIND & FREE LASH LOADER MASCARA – $24.95
This was boring. And mascara shouldn’t bore me.

MAYBELLINE COLOSSAL BUBBLE MASCARA – $27.99
And this was just disappointing. Fantastic on the lashes, but so smudgy.

GLISTEN COSMETICS SPECTRA LASH MASCARA in SKY BLUE – $25.00
Now this shade was just fun! I loved this on the lower lashes paired with a sky blue liner. Really makes the eyes pop. I would get this shade again.

And that is a wrap on my empties! I do love it when my empties are short and concise. Gives me time to do other things. Like make more empties! Let me know what you used up in the comments.
