Now the year can really start!
That’s right, y’all. My Shop My Stash series is back and better than ever for 2026. And this time, when I said shop my stash, I meant it. I have a lot of returning favourites in this stash. Including something that I had fully intended to review last year. Time really got away from us, huh? In any case, we shall not dawdle. Let’s get into it!
Kicking us off with my base goodies, I have the MECCA MAX DEW OVER HYDRATING PRIMER and the GLOSSIER FUTUREDEW as my primer picks. The Mecca Max is a good all rounder and the Glossier will be a good option as the season begins to change in March. For foundation, my picks for review are the SEPHORA COLLECTION BEST SKIN EVER FOUNDATION, the L’OREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION (which I have technically never reviewed on here before!), and I’m finally get around to reviewing the UNLEASHIA SATIN WEAR HEALTHY GREEN CUSHION FOUNDATION that I was supposed to do like 6 months ago.
For the rest of the base, because the Sephora Collection foundation is on the light side, I pulled out all of my lighter concealers. The CHARLOTTE TILBURY BEAUTIFUL SKIN CONCEALER, the TOWER 28 SWIPE CONCEALER, and because I bought it at the same time, the SEPHORA COLLECTION BEST SKIN EVER CONCEALER. To set everything down, I have the MAYBELLINE FIT ME LOOSE POWDER and the HUDA BEAUTY EASY BAKE LOOSE POWDER. Finally, to lock all that good stuff in, I recently picked up the REVLON ILLUMINANCE SETTING SPRAY. My friend Lily is a fan of this and if you read this, you’re correct, it does smell like old lady perfume.
I finally have a brow appointment in the near future. So I have to care about my brows again. I picked the RIMMEL BROW THIS WAY EYEBROW DEFINER to give another go. And to set them, I had to return to the MAYBELLINE SUPERLOCK BROW GLUE. Still one of the best drugstore brow gels on the market.
Now, for the all important category of mascara, I have two newbies on the chopping block. The HALF MAGIC EYELECTIC EXTREME LASH MASCARA comes highly requested by you all and is a favourite amongst many of my fellow bloggers. And the ESSENCE LASH PRINCESS MASCARA is easily my most requested mascara review ever. My history with Lash Princess is famous at this point. And this is the last mascara standing.
Bronzer time now, and it’s all returning faves here. The MAC COSMETICS SKINFINISH SUNSTRUCK MATTE BRONZER is one that I’ve wanted to revisit for a while. I remember liking it when I had it last. The LYS NO LIMITS CREAM BRONZER STICK in MED is a Best Of winner for 2025 and I just wanted an excuse to use it again. And I’m so stinking close to hitting pan on the MAKEUP BY MARIO SOFTSCULPT SKIN ENHANCER in LIGHT MEDIUM. I would love to do that before March ends.
Finally, we have my blush picks. And yes, your eyes do not deceive you, I only have four in my stash for now. I have the HAUS LABS COLOR FUSE GLASSY BLUSH BALM in GLASSY CLOVE, the NYX BUTTAMELT BLUSH in FEELING BUTTA, the MORPHE CHEEK THRILLS BLUSH TRIO in AFTER PARTY, and the TOWER 28 GET SET POWDER BLUSH in SAMO SPRITZER. Now, I say four for now because Mecca has a VERY exciting launch coming next week that will definitely be added to the stash as soon as it gets here. Stay tuned for that.
