Hip Hip Hooray, it’s finally May! We are so close to halfway through the year. It’s crazy. But we all know why I’m here. New month means empties. Once again, didn’t use up that much stuff. But I have a few biggies that I’m excited to chat about.
SUMMER FRIDAYS JET LAG MASK – $85.00 for 64g
I got this as a sample with a Mecca order. And I figured I should use it even though I am terrible when it comes to using my samples. As for my thoughts, well, I already have the 28g in my current night time routine. So,that answers that question.
MECCA MAX LIFE PROOF PRESSED POWDER – $26.00
This was my handbag powder for the longest time. Not my favourite, but it worked well for touch ups. I will say, the pan is extremely thin. I hit pan so quickly with this one.
PRADA PRADASCOPE LASH EXTENDING MASCARA – $72.00
This would have been my worst mascara of 2025 had the Milani not pissed me off. But it’s still a terrible, smudgy formula that isn’t worth the money.
VERB GHOST OIL – $22.00USD
Really, really good lightweight hair oil for when my frizz is plaiying up. Please send me your hair oil recommendations!
MECCA MAX MILK IT SOOTHING MOISTURE MIST – $30.00*
Best in Beauty 2025 winner. A sensational, super fine mist that was the boost of hydration that my skin needed.
GO TO MUCH BRIGHTER SKIN – $59.00
I used this up the day my March empties got posted. Which was hella annoying. But this is a fabulous Vitamin C serum. Would get again.
BIODERMA ATODERM ULTRA NOURISHING SHOWER OIL – $43.99
Second bottle down. This stuff is still amazing. My winter essential for when I can’t be arsed to actually moisturise outside of the shower(which is more often that I should admit to)
NATURIUM THE SMOOTHER GLYCOLIC ACID BODY WASH – $32.00
I’m kinda torn on this one. I love the formula, my upper arms has never been smoother. But boy, howdy, did I go through this quickly. And I wasn’t even using this every single night. I don’t know, maybe a change in packaging might help. Because this stuff is pricey for me to go through it as quickly as I do.
GEM SKIN LOVING DEODORANT in COCONUT VANILLA – $10.50
Not my favourite scent of the bunch. But still an excellent deodorant.
TREE HUT VANILLA WHIPPED SHEA BODY BUTTER – $22.00
This was the body butter I had on my table next to my couch for those occasions where I could be arsed to moisturise after the shower. And I would get this again in a heartbeat. It’s so thick and luscious. And smells utterly heavenly!
