It’s the drugstore sale we’ve all been waiting for, y’all! Chemist Warehouse is having their Big Brand Sale. Which includes 50% cosmetics from some of their most popular brands. Now, it’s been a while since I last did a recommendations post for Chemist Warehouse specifically. And lord knows there has been so, so many incredible new drugstore launches making their way to Australia as of late. So, I figured it was high time I share some of my picks for the sale. So, let’s get into it.
REVLON ILLUMINANCE SKIN CARING FOUNDATION – $21.99
OK, so full disclosure, I’ve been gatekeeping this foundation as a favourite for a long, long time. This one is a winter go to for me. It’s a natural medium buildable coverage with the most gorgeous radiant finish that still looks super skin like. I always get compliments on my skin whenever I wear this foundation. I can’t wait to pull it out again this winter.
MAYBELLINE CLOUDTOPIA BLUSH – $12.49
I won’t lie, I didn’t know what to expect from these blushes. As someone who still misses the Bouncy Blushes to this day, I knew that these wouldn’t be the same. And they aren’t. What they are though is light as air, but pack a serious punch as far as pigment goes. Trust, a little bit goes an extremely long way with these blushes. And the wear time is phenomenal. I can put this on at 7am and still see it on my cheeks at 5pm. I’m seriously tempted to get more shades.
COVERGIRL LASH BLAST BOND MASCARA – $10.97
I reviewed this one back at the start of the year. And I have revisited it frequently since then. While I can’t say it’s my favourite from the Lash Blast range, it’s still up there. It provides my lashes with so much length and volume. And best of all, it wears without smudging or transfer.
RIMMEL LASTING FINISH LIP LINER – $6.47
I am both so happy and so sad to see these liners finally get their flowers. Happy because these are some of the most criminally underrated liners at the drugstore. Sad because these are constantly selling out. But these really are fantastic. They glide onto the lips with ease. But once they are on and set, there is very little that can remove them again. They are certainly kiss proof (ask me how I know!). I just love them so much!
NYX JELLY JOB FULL BODIED SHINE GLOSS – $12.49
The lip gloss of the moment. You don’t need me to tell you the Jelly Job’s from NYX are amazing. All you need to do is apply them to your lips and then you’ll know. I am so obsessed with this formula right now. It’s feather light, but so, so glossy. And the range of colours in the line are all so stunning. I also love the plastic applicator and how I can get a neat line of gloss around my lips. If there is anything I insist you get from the sale, it’s these!
