Winter may have just started, but this edition of my empties is bringing the spice! That’s right, this is going to be a more ranty empties than you’re probably used to. But sometimes it’s good to chat about the things the don’t necessarily work out as much as the things that do. So, let’s get into it!

THE BREAKOUT HACK PATCH IT UP CICA MICRO DART PIMPLE PATCHES – $14.95
This is admittedly my first experience with microdart patches. And for what they are, they’re pretty good. I would save these for the big stubborn pimples that didn’t want to pop. They did a solid enough job that would get them again. But I do also want to see what else is out there (recommendations plz)
MAKEUP BY MARIO MASTER MASCARA – $54.00
I would probably recommend this if the formula had dried out over time. But this ultimately did nothing for me. I would skip.
TOO FACED BETTER THAN SEX MASCARA – $48.00
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no *yeet*.

GLOW RECIPE CLOUDBERRY BRIGHT MOISTURE CREAM – $66.00*
One of my faves from Glow Recipe. Would get again come the summer time.
GO TO SKINCARE DE CREASE SOOTHING EYE SERUM – $55.00
Pure luxury for the under eye area. Would buy again in a heartbeat as soon as I’m out of other eye serums/creams.
CAUDAILE VINOPERFECT – $117.00
Yeah, so this what has been breaking me out. Took me that long to realise it. I even took this out of my routine for a while and as soon as I reintroduced it, I had pimples a week later where I wouldn’t normally break out. So, consider this my formal retraction. I do not recommend this. And I’ll be sticking to vitamin C serums that actually work for my skin (that Go To order is happening sooner rather than later).

KERASTASE GENESIS ANTI HAIRFALL SHAMPOO – $62.00 and CONDITIONER – $76.00
*Disclaimer – I know that this was recently sent out as a PR rollout. I purchased these back in Novmeber of last year* This is an ok range. Did notice a reduction of my hair breakage. But I don’t like this range as much as the Premiere range. Which made a noticeable difference to my hair health overall.

GARNIER MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER – $25.00
Hello second choice of micellar water! I probably should say this is my favourite though. The fact that I can simply walk into a Coles, Woolies, or Kmart and simply buy this whenever gives it points in my book. I was planning on giving the micellar water a break so I can use up some of my other cleansers. But it was 2° the other morning. And I’m not one of those douchey assholes who dunk their faces in ice water. So, a new bottle has already been purchased.
GO TO THE REMOVALIST CLAY MASK – $48.00
This was never my number one favourite clay mask, to be honest. But still a lovely one for when my skin is cranky. I definitely appreciate the fact that it isn’t a super intense dry down and it rinses off easily. The fact that it still smells like grape nerds is also a win.
CINEMA SECRETS MAKEUP BRUSH CLEANER – $74.00
Speaking of smells! Yeah, I know this one is an industry darling. But it smells so acrid and like fake vanilla. And it lingers on the brushes long after you’ve used it. AND ANOTHER THING! Depending on how porous the fibers of your brushes are, this stuff will stain them blue. Which is just kind of annoying. I have picked up the Saint Jack one to give a go. That one I’ve heard amazing reviews for. But I won’t be getting this again
And that is a wrap on my May empties! Happy Pride, y’all!
Cheers and love
