Well folks, it’s time for an all new beauty stash. And new is definitely the word I would use. You see, May was my birthday month. And as is tradition, I went a little nuts with the beauty purchases (though, it is admittedly less than previous years. Stupid fridge prevented me from going too ham). But the end result is that I have so, SO many new products to test out in my stash. So, let’s talk about them.

Kicking us off, for primers, we have the REVLON ILLUMINANCE MOISTURISE + PRIMER BALM PRIMER and the RIMMEL LONDON LASTING FINISH FACE PLUMPING PRIMER. The Revlon is a tried and true favourite but the Rimmel is new to me (in this version anyway. I was a fan of the original Lasting Finish primer back in the day). For the base, we are going glowy with the KYLIE COSMETICS SKIN TINT BLURRING ELIXIR and the SAIE BEAUTY GLOWY SUPER SKIN TINT FOUNDATION. I kinda figured that winter would be the opportune time to test these out so they can have a fighting chance of staying on my face.

For concealer, I have two newbies to the stash. The ABOUT FACE THE ILLUSIONIST CONCEALER and the legendary HOURGLASS COSMETICS VANISH CONCEALER. Both are highly beloved online and I’m super excited to try. For powders, I’m still in my pink powder era with the WET ‘N WILD LOOSE SETTING POWDER *PR*. I’m curious to see how this compares to the Kosas. I also yanked out the AUSTRALIS FRESH & FLAWLESS PRESSED POWDER. Because she’s an icon! Finally for base, I have the NYX THE MARSHMALLOW SETTING SPRAY and the L’OREAL INFALLIBLE 3 SECOND SETTING MIST.

For the brows, I recently picked up the REVLON PHOTO READY LIFTING BROW GEL to try out. I have heard polarising reviews about it from fellow creators who have used it. As for me, so far, it’s ok. Not wild about how long the brush is. But the formula is good from the little bit I’ve tried.

For something a little different, I have three of the WET ‘N WILD CHAMELEON CHROME LINERS *PR* in the stash. I’m not a huge eyeliner person. But these are so stinking gorgeous. And they wear like a dream so far.

For mascara, it’s an all drugstore affair! I have the new L’OREAL EXTENSIONIST MASCARA and the RIMMEL LONDON WONDER’BOND LASH FILLER MASCARA. Both of these have been requested for me to review. So those will be coming soon.

For bronzers, I have a solid assortment of newbies. I have the MAYBELLINE LIFTER STIX in SHADE 65 (not new, but very welcome), the MECCA MAX MULTIPLAYER MODE SHAPING STICK in LEVEL, the RARE BEAUTY WARM WISHES SOFT MATTE POWDER BRONZER in WARMED UP, and the WESTMAN ATELIER SUN TONE BRONZING CREAM in SHADE 1.

Lastly, for blush, we have the L’OREAL LUMI LE GLASS HIGHLIGHTER STICK in PINK BALLET (yes, I know that it’s a highlighter, but it’s stunning on it’s own), the HUDA BEAUTY BLUSH FILTER in COTTON CANDY, the MAC GLOW PLAY BLUSH in BLUSH PLEASE (leave me alone, I’m addicted to this shade), and two of the new MAC SKINFINISH COLOURSTRUCK BLUSHES in THANKS, IT’S MAC and LA LA LAVENDER. I know, a purple blush? But go with me here.
And that is a wrap on what I’ll be playing with! This should keep me busy over the next few months. As always, let me know in the comments what you would like a dedicated review of. Have an amazing weekend.
Cheers and love
