Bite Size Reviews – Part 18

Posted on June 9, 2026June 8, 2026 by emmiesbeautylifeadmin

Well, I guess these beauty products won’t review themselves! That’s right, we are back with another Bite Size Reviews. And the products I picked out this time came directly from you. I had a lot of interest in my last stash. And I’m super excited to talk about everything. Let’s get into it!

MAYBELLINE LIFTER CONCEALER – $24.99
OK, consider this a spoiler for my upcoming Maybelline foundation review (should be live Friday). But this is the VERY rare instance of me liking the foundation and HATING the corresponding concealer. I do not know what is going on with Maybelline right now. They have two of the best concealers in the drugstore with the Age Rewind and the Fit Me. But everything after that has been awful. And the Lifter Concealer might be the worst. I do not get the applicator for this at all. It applies the product so unevenly. The consistency is so weirdly tacky that I find it difficult to blend. Worst of all, this clings to every dry patch and line under the eyes. Ruining my makeup look damn near instantly. I wasn’t wild about either of the concealers in my last stash. But this was truly awful.

KOSAS CLOUD SET LOOSE SETTING POWDER – $62.00
This is one that has popped up in a few stashes as of late. The reason being that it’s a damn, damn good loose powder. Super finely milled, blurs like a dream, and the hint of pink adds a lovely brightness to the face overall. I’m usually not the biggest fan of the non-talc powders that have been coming out. But this might be the best of the lot so far.

EM COSMETICS SOFT SCULPT BRONZER – $44.00
Em Cosmetics is super underrated as a makeup brand these days (lowkey shocked to see them still going NGL). But it would be a shame to see them go away because more people need to know about this bronzer. This has such a light, airy feel on the skin and it blends like a powder. It looks so flawless once it’s blended out. And the wear is impeccable. No notes!

MAYBELLINE CLOUDTOPIA CHEEK & LIP MOUSSE – $24.99
I gave these a shoutout in my Chemist Warehouse recommendations post last month. And I do stand by that. This is a gorgeous formula. What I failed to mention there though is that this is a gorgeous, PIGMENTED AS FUCK formula. That teeny little dent you see was from me using it for two straight weeks. One tap with my brush was all I needed to get enough product to do both of my cheeks. A little bit goes an insanely long way. So, yeah, good but kinda easy to screw up formula.

MORPHE TROPHY WIFE EYESHADOW TRIO – $21.00
I mentioned in a previous post that Morphe’s rebrand needs to be studied. And that opinion isn’t changing. I was always very meh on Morphe’s old eyeshadow formula. But this new one is fantastic. That swirly metallic shade in the middle eats so hard! Do I get a ton of looks out of this palette on it’s own? Not really. But I did use this a ton through April and May and I’m sorely tempted to pick up the cool toned one to add to my collection.

And that is a wrap on another edition of my Bite Size Empties! I hope you enjoyed your meal. And I’ll catch you all on Friday.

Cheers and love
Emily xo
