Spotlight On – Toasted Brown Blushes For Winter

Posted on June 26, 2026June 25, 2026 by emmiesbeautylifeadmin

Well then, winter is truly in full swing up north. And for me, that means only one thing. I get to break out my favourite toasty warm brown blushes to have in my routine. I know that brown isn’t a super common shade you normally see in blush. Most brands go for just beige. But it’s exploded in popularity in the last few years. And brown is a shade that can look absolutely stunning on a wide variety of skin tones. I have five go to brown blushes that have become staples of my routine. And today, I’m gonna swatch them to show you just how gorgeous they can be. Let’s get into it!

TOWER 28 BEACH PLEASE BLUSH in POWER HOUR – $33.00
DESCRIPTION – Sun Kissed Terracotta
Probably the most accessible shade I’ll be talking about (in both shade and affordability), the Beach Please formula is borderline impossible to screw up. It blends like a dream and would work so well as more of a blonzer shade. Literally, you could just have this all over the cheeks and be good to go.

CHANEL NO. 1 DE CHANEL LIP & CHEEK BALM in 3 VITAL BEIGE – $86.00
And here, we have the extreme opposite for pricing! Yes, I know these are criminally expensive. Yes, I also know that shade wise, this is extremely similar to Power Hour. But for a balm, this formula has some serious staying power. It also adds a beautiful glow and shine to the skin that I personally adore.

HAUS LABS COLOR FUSE GLASSY BLUSH BALM in GLASSY CLOVE – $59.00
Now, if you’re a fan of glow, the Color Fuse Blushes are your gal. This formula is so light and easy to work with. And while Glassy Clove looks intimidating in the swatch, the blend is absolutely gorgeous. It has a slightly warmer finish. But it adds a stunning flush.

HUDA BEAUTY BLUSH FILTER in COCO LOCO – $42.00
Again, I know you’re probably super intimated by how dark it looks in the swatch. But I will never steer you wrong. This formula blends so seamlessly into the most incredible burnt brown shade with just a hint of reddy warmth.

RHODE POCKET BLUSH in TOASTED TEDDY – $43.00
Finally, we have to wrap this up with arguably the brown shade to end all brown shades. Mrs Hailey Bieber did her big one with Toasted Teddy. OMG, this formula is everything to me. The instant warmth on the cheeks is perfect for this time of year.

And those are my go to brown blushes! As always, here are some swatches. They are in the above order.

Let me know in the comments what your go to brown blushes are in the comments. Particularly powder blushes. As you can see, I am lacking in that area. Have a fantastic weekend!

Cheers and love
