How about that. Not only is it Friday, it’s the first Friday of the month. Which means it’s empties time once again. And I have some fun ones to talk about. Let’s get into it!
BIODANCE BI-COLLAGEN REAL DEEP MASK 4pk – $37.50
Now that I have finally used these up, the conclusion I have come to with them is that as effective as they are, I do not have the patience or tolerance to wear them for the full 8 hours that I’m supposed to keep them on for. And I was definitely never comfortable about the idea of wearing them to bed (what about the pillows!?). If I got these sent to me in PR, I wouldn’t say no to them. But I wouldn’t actively seek them out again. I’m more than happy to stick with my regular sheet masks.k
L’OREAL METAL DETOX MASK – $75.00*
This, on the other hand, I do not think I can get enough of! The difference this has made to my hair health is huge. I will immediately repurchase! And knowing me, I’ll probably pick up the whole range.
GO TO VERY LUXE FACE CREAM – $82.00
Boy, did I pick the wrong time of year to use this up. Absolutely sensational night cream. So, so deeply hydrating. I will buy this again. But I’ll hold out until next April so I have it for next winter.
GO TO CLARIFYING FACE HERO – $56.00
Third bottle down. This stuff has a permanent spot in my stash. I’ll never be without it.
HAUS LABS VOLUMIZING + LENGTHENING MASCARA – $49.00
I reviewed this six months ago. And for the life of me, I do not remember what I thought about it. Which may as well be everything I need to say about it. Skip.
Q + A SALICYLIC ACID BODY WASH – $17.99*
On the one hand, I do love the smell of this (seriously Q + A, that is money on the table. You need to release this scent in a body mist). On the other hand, I do think this was making the KP on my upper arms worse. They were always so bumpy and dry after extended use. I would skip.
L’OREAL ELVIVE MIDNIGHT SERUM – $23.00
This one, I am just decluttering. I hate the scent of this. I hate how it makes my hair feel. I know it’s affordable (especially in comparison to what it’s supposed to be duping). But it’s not worth it. I have and will pay the $100 for the Kerastase before I ever repurchase this.
CLEAR SKINCARE EXFOLIATING GEL CLEANSER – $30.00*
Another product that I am in two minds about. The texture of this is not one that emulsifys easily. It feels very streaky when I’m trying to massage it into my skin. HOWEVER, gosh, this stuff is effective. This really came in clutch when I was breaking out back in May. Again, I probably wouldn’t seek it out. But if I got it in the mail again, I would definitely use it.
GEM SKIN LOVING DEODORANT in VANILLA SUGAR – $10.50
As it stands, this is my second favourite Gem deodorant scent. I just wish it lingered a little longer on the skin. I feel like this is long gone after 3-4 hours. And Gem has deodorants that I can still smell on me after 8-10 hours *cough*Roasted Almond & Toffee*cough*
BORING WITHOUT YOU FORGIVENESS GENTLE & SOFT OSMOLYTE GEL CLEANSER – $24.95*
Finally, this is a best of 2026 (so far) winner. So deeply hydrating and soothing on the skin. I already have a bottle in my cart.
