Emmie Reviews – Saie Beauty Glowy Super Skin Tint Foundation

Posted on July 17, 2026July 22, 2026 by emmiesbeautylifeadmin

Happy Friday, everyone! It’s time for another foundation review. And lord knows this one has been very highly anticipated. Today, we are chatting about the Saie Beauty Glowy Super Skin Tint Foundation. I picked this one up when Saie opened up their shipping worldwide back in November, and have been waiting for an opportunity to put it to the test. So, let’s see how this one wears!

SAIE BEAUTY GLOWY SUPER SKIN TINT FOUNDATION – $59.00 – saiehello.com

Kicking us off with the packaging, the Super Skin Tint Foundation is housed in a sleek, cylindrical, frosted glass bottle. There is a black cap at the top and black detail on the bottle itself. The bottle itself has a good weight and doesn’t feel cheap. I also believe the bottle is made with some recycled materials. Which we love to see. The Super Skin Tint Foundation is vegan, cruelty free, and contains 30ml of product.

The Super Skin Tint Foundation is dispensed via a pump on the top of the bottle. The pump is recycled acrylic and has a good amount of resistance to it. Allowing me a good amount of control as to how much product I need to pump out. This is especially good as the consistency of the Super Skin Tint Foundation is quite thin (which I will discuss more in a moment).

The Super Skin Tint Foundation has 36 shades in the line. The shades are divided up by skin tone and there is a solid mix of undertones in the range. I do wish that they had some olive undertones in the lighter side of the shade range. And there is a jump in tone between the last deep shade and the first rich shade. For my extremely fair skin folks though, I will say that the lightest shade is not only extremely light, but it’s a neutral shade. So, I can see that working for a lot of you. There are improvements that could be made. But it’s far from the worst shade range I’ve seen this year.

As for me, I wear shade 7. Described as being light with neutral undertones. And this is what I mean when I say there could be improvements with the range. Is this the right undertone for me? Yes. Is it a shade I can pull off? Also yes. Is it my perfect shade? No. It is a teensiest bit deep for me unless I blend it all the way down my neck. I would have like to have gone a shade down, but there is only one neutral shade in the light category. The next lightest neutral shade is shade 1. As it stands, I would consider this my summer shade. And I just have to go a little extra with the concealer during this time of year.

As I mentioned before, the consistency of the Super Skin Tint Foundation is very thin and liquidy. And it has quite a slippy feel to the touch. One of the big claims is that this formula is 85% skincare. With Hyaluronic Acid, Rice Bran Peptides, Polyglutamic Acid, and Glycerin all popping up in the ingredient list to help hydrate, smooth, and soothe the skin underneath. All that to say, if you have oily skin, you may as well tap out of this review now. This foundation is not for you. I’ll catch you in the next one. One thing I will quickly note is that the high level of skincare in this formula causes it to separate pretty much all the time. So, you have to shake it like a polaroid picture before every use.

As far as application goes, I found that I got the most even application with a sponge. You’re shocked, I know. It actually took me a while to get around to trying it with a sponge as I naturally assumed that it wouls simply soak right in. But the finish was even, smooth, and lovely. Having said that, it does work well with fingers or a brush as well (both of these are the recommended method on the Saie website)

The Super Skin Tint Foundation is described on the Saie website as being a medium coverage with a luminous, second skin finish. As far as coverage goes, I would say more light medium. A lot of my dark spots were still visible underneath. But it did a solid job at evening out my skin tone. Where I did want to throw my head back and laugh at though was the ‘luminous, second skin finish’. The picture above does not do this justice. There is luminous, and then there is straight up shiny. And this foundation is straight up shiny. It is glowy to the extreme (again, if you have oily skin, you do not need to continue reading). One more thing I wanted to mention here is that despite it’s lightweight claim, I did feel this foundation on my skin. Especially the longer I had it on throughout the day.

Which brings me to the wear test. And y’all, this was a disaster, I fear. I did all of the prep for this (long wear primer, setting powder, setting spray) and it still didn’t work for me. Right off the bat, this felt so slippy and shiny on the skin. In a way that made me very uncomfortable. I made a vain attempt at setting this thoughout the day and it still slipped and slid around my face. It broke apart on my chin, it emphasised my texture, it sunk into my lines. Overall, it was a very unpleasent experience.

Yeah, so this is pretty obvious. The Saie Beauty Glowy Super Skin Tint Foundation is not for me. And unless you have skin that is drier than The Sahara (or you just really, really love that glow), I do not see this working for you, dear reader, either. I will even go as far as saying that until this brand is available in Australia and you can get a sample to try for yourself, you should probably just skip this one for the time being. In any case, have you tried the Saie Beauty Glowy Super Skin Tint Foundation? Let me know in the comments.

Cheers and love
Emily xo
