It’s been about six months since I did my first one of these and lo and behold, I actually have bought enough questionable products that I’m able to do a part two. So, same rules apply. I’ll mention why I wish I didn’t blow my hard earned money on these products and I’ll provide my own recommendations for products I do like from their line.
TOO FACED BETTER THAN SEX MASCARA – $18.00-$35.00
I know that I’ve already talked about this one in my most recent mascara roundup. But damn if I’m still not gutted over how much I don’t like this mascara. I have tried it a few more times since that initial post, hoping that since it had aged, it might have improved slightly. But sadly, no. It’s still way too clumpy and smudgy and I do not like it.
I DO RECOMMEND: The Melted Matte Liquid Lipsticks! They last all day and they do not budge at all.
MORPHE 35OS EYESHADOW PALETTE – $35.00*
Yeah, more fool me for buying an eyeshadow palette that is nothing but shimmers. But this gives me sensory overload every time I pull it out. The shadows themselves are fine (there is one duochrome shade that almost makes this palette kinda worth it), but ultimately, I never reach for this.
I DO RECOMMEND: This is actually my first and only experience with Morphe so I got nothing for here. You know what, I’ll leave this to you. Let me know your Morphe recommendations down below

COVERGIRL TRUBLEND MATTE MADE FOUNDATION – $19.95
Full disclosure, I’ve still in the testing stage of this foundation. But I’m having such a hard time with it, I might just give my review here. I cannot get this to work with me. I’ve tried so many different techniques to get this to work. Different primers, different brushes, sponges. I even used my fingers to try and blend this foundation out. It just looks cakey and it just sits on my skin. I know that there are people who swear by this, but this was a fail.
I DO RECOMMEND: The Colourlicious Lip Glosses are fruity goodness that I adore!
DESIGNER BRANDS SPRAY & SET MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY – $11.99
I live for a good setting spray whenever I do my makeup. And I’m always on the lookout for affordable options, but this was a no from me. The spray on it isn’t the worst I’ve ever used, but the smell of alcohol is very strong and unpleasant. Also, I know it isn’t fair to compare any setting spray to the Urban Decay All Nighter, but it’s not even close to doing as good a job as the All Nighter does.
I DO RECOMMEND: The Eye See You six pan palettes they recently bought out are genuinely excellent and are well worth checking out.
TOO FACED PRETTY RICH EYESHADOW PALETTE – $75.00
I promise this isn’t the Too Faced dumping hour. Because I do like this palette. The packaging is awesome, the shadows blend nicely. But every time I use it, all I can think to myself I should have bought the White Peach palette instead. Because when you look at them side to side, they are very similar in their colour story. Plus I wouldn’t be lumped with four glitter shades I’m not going to use. So yeah, I like this palette and I’m still going to use it. But man do I wish I bought the cheaper one.
I DO RECOMMEND: The Just Peachy Matte palette is Too Faced’s best palette by a mile (I still love ya, Too Faced!)
