Emmie Reviews – LYS Beauty Triple Fix Skin Tint Stick

Posted on September 11, 2026September 10, 2026 by emmiesbeautylifeadmin

It’s been too long since I last reviewed a stick foundation (and if memory serves me right, the last one was something of a disaster). But I was trawling through the Sephora app a few months back when I saw quite a few positive reviews for the LYS Beauty Triple Fix Skin Tint Stick. And seeing as their cream stick bronzer is one of my absolute favourites, I figured it was high time to give it a go. I’ve spent the last few weeks using it and really putting it through it’s paces. So, is this another winner for LYS Beauty? Just keep reading!

LYS BEAUTY TRIPLE FIX SKIN TINT STICK – $46.00 – sephora.com.au
*22 Shades Available*

Starting with the packaging, the Triple Fix Stick is housed in a sleek, triangular style tube. The tube is made of a rigid plastic, but still feels lightweight. One interesting detail about the packaging is that while my tube is beige, the colour of the tube changes as it correspond to the shade of skin tint you get. There is also some rose gold detail on the tube itself. As far as theming goes, it fits right in with the rest of LYS’s range. The triangular tube/packaging is very much their thing. The Triple Fix Stick contains 7.2g of product.

The Triple Fix Stick is dispensed with a twist up mechanism in the middle of the tube. Like I’ve said with pretty much every other stick style base product I’ve ever tried, you simply twist up what you need, swipe, and then go. Pretty straight forward.

The Triple Fix Stick has 22 shades in the range. Now, I know that 22 shades does sound limited. But a) we are dealing with a skin tint, so more adaptable coverage. And b) I have to say, this is one of the more balanced shade ranges that I’ve seen as of late. There is around 4-5 shades per skin tone. And there is a large emphasis on the deeper part of the shade spectrum (which makes sense, LYS Beauty is a black owned brand). If I had one minor nitpick (and I often do), I will say that there are only two cool toned shades in the range. The vast majority of the shades lean neutral. So, if you’re a true cool toned person, I would strongly recommend swatching in store wherever possible. I will also note that despite there being 22 shades in the range, only 17 are available on Sephora’s website. And unsurprisingly, a lot of the deepest shades are the ones that have been excluded. Which is a shame.

For me, I wear shade MN1 Ivory Beige. Described as being a light medium shade with neutral undertones. It looks oh so slightly too deep in the initial swatch. But once it’s blended out on the skin, it does end up being a spot on match. And I can say that it stays true to colour throughout the day.

The Triple Fix Stick is sold as an all in one kind of skin tint. A serum, primer, and foundation all in one product. I noted quite a few hydrating products in the ingredient list like Rosehip Oil, Vitamin E, and Watermelon Extract. I also noted Green Tea Extract, which is known for it’s soothing and calming skin properties. Having said all of that, my skin is still on the drier side. So I still routinely went in with a primer for a little extra love (the Mecca Max Hydrating Primer works extremely well with this skin tint).

As far as application goes, this skin tint goes on like butter. It’s been a while since I had a stick product that went on this well. I would go in with my normal stick product formation. Two swipes on the cheeks, one on the forehead, one on the nose, and one on the chin. I would use a brush to blend that out (the Morphe M104 was my go to here). And when I tell you, this blended out like a dream! I had no streakiness, no odd spots. Just seamless blend. I liked the finish with a sponge as well. But a brush was my preferred method and what I used most often.

The Triple Fix Stick is described as being a light buildable coverage with a natural finish. I’m willing to agree on both counts. I found that this was extremely buildable. But it still wasn’t a great deal of coverage overall. My darker spots and sunspots were still visible. It does do an very good job at evening out my skin tone overall. As far as finish goes, I would say it’s on the glowier side of natural. There is a sheen to it I did want to tamp down with some powder. Otherwise, I like it.

And now, all we have left is the wear test. I have to say, this one is kind of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it does stay true to colour. On the other hand, it doesn’t want to stay on my face. If you look carefully, you can see it has faded on my chin and around my nose. It did want to sink into the lines around my face. And after 8 hours of wear, my natural oils did want to poke through. I was a lot shinier IRL than I appear in the above picture. Mostly, though, I wasn’t wild about how this felt on my skin. For all of the lightweight claims, I was always able to feel this on my skin. Almost like it was slipping around. It was very unpleasant and at times uncomfortable.

All in all, I didn’t want to be this harsh, but the Triple Fix Skin Tint from LYS Beauty is a swing and a miss for me. And it’s a shame because I was very excited to try this one. If your skin leans more dry, I could see this working for you very well. But otherwise, there are better stick style foundation products out there. Have you tried the LYS Beauty Triple Fix Skin Tint Stick? Let me know in the comments.

Cheers and love
