Well, would you look at that! 25 stashes have been shopped now and I’m so proud. This has been such a fun series to do and I have enjoyed discovering so many incredible new products. And this month’s stash is chocked to the brim with goodness. So, let’s dive on in and see what I’ll be using for the next few months.
Kicking us off with base products, we have a couple of returning favourites with the MAYBELLINE PORELESS JELLY PRIMER and the GO TO SKINCARE VERY MATTIFYING PRIMER. But I also placed a massive order for some Danessa Myricks last month. Which means I have the DANESSA MYRICKS YUMMY SKIN WATER POWDER SERUM to finally give a go. This has been on my to try list for the better part of forever and I really want to try it now as we are getting very warm once again.
For base products, we have something of a jumble up happening. I kept in the BARE MINERALS COMPLEXION RESCUE SKIN TINT STICK because I had bumped it for the TOWER 28 BEAUTY SWIPE FOUNDATION. Which I am currently reviewing. Once house two are out of the way though. I have the winner of my foundation poll, the DANESSA MYRICKS YUMMY SKIN TINT in the stash to test out.
Much like foundation, I seem to be in a position where I have a lot of new concealers to test out. But I ended up going with the DANESA MYRICKS YUMMY SKIN CONCEALER and the MARC JACOBS NUDE AWAKENING CONCEALER. I haven’t heard too much about either of these. So it’s nice to go into a review with something of a clean slate. I brought back two old powders, the TOWER 28 GET SET PRESSED POWDER and the NYX COSMETICS WONDER SNATCH LOOSE POWDER to give another go. The Nyx especially as I didn’t really give it a fair shake the last time I had it. Lastly for base, I have the DANESSA MYRICKS YUMMY SKIN LIQUID BLURRING BALM. This one comes incredibly highly rated (people swear by it). So, I’m so psyched to try it.
For brows, I have the MAYBELLINE BUILD A BROW PEN and the TROUBLE MAKER BEAUTY FERAL BROW GEL. The Maybelline is a returning favourite. But the Trouble Maker is new and a range that I have heard very little about. Here’s hoping I find a good, new, affordable brow gel.
Eyeliner is having a real moment here. And I recently picked up two of the new HALF MAGIC VELVET FLIK EYELINERS in PEACHY BEIGE and LAVENDER MAUVE. The shape of these is quite unique and I’m still getting the hang of them. But so far, I like the formula.
Some fun new and old eyeshadows to play with in this stash. I recently got my hands on the TROUBLE MAKER PLAYGROUND EYESHADOW PALETTE mostly because it’s been all over my Instagram feed and I’ve been drooling at all of the fun, colourful looks. I also added one of the TOWER 28 BEAUTY GOGO COOLING SHIMMER STICK in GARDEN, the HALF MAGIC GLITTERPUCK IN DOPAMINE SPARKLE, and the HALF MAGIC SPARKLESTIK EYE CRAYING in FROSTIWINKLE
And now, for everyone’s favourite category, the mascara’s! I’ve been using the YSL BEAUTY LASH CLASH MASCARA behind the scenes for the last few weeks already (review coming next week). But I also grabbed out two newbies. The URBAN DECAY TUBE JOB MASCARA I’ve seen a ton of polarising reviews for. Which is basically my Bat Signal. And the TROUBLE MAKER CURL THEORY CURLING MASCARA basically has my favourite mascara word written on it.
Bronzer time. And we have a solid split of new and old here. I brought back out the RARE BEAUTY WARM WISHES SOFT MATTE POWDER BRONZER in WARMED UP and the MECCA MAX SUNLIT SKIN POWDER BRONZE to give another go to (the Rare Beauty especially). For my cream picks, I have the RHODE POCKET BRONZER in DIP and the HAUS LABS PRECISION SCULPT SHAPING BALM in ANGLE. I already know I love the Rhode formula, but I do love a little more warmth in my bronzers during the warmer months. Which is why you’re getting back to back Rhode’s.
Finally, we have blush! And I know, there is a lot of pink. It’s still springtime here. I have the RARE BEAUTY SOFT PINCH BOUNCY MATTE BLUSH in HAPPY, the DIOR BACKSTAGE ROSY GLOW STICK in TOFFEE, the AUSTRALIS DEWY & DARING BLUSH in PIXIE DREAM GIRL, the SAIE DEW BLUSH in LADY, and the MORPHE CHEEK THRILLS BLUSH TRIO in YACHT DAY. Not pictured are the two new MORPHE CLOUDLIGHT SOFT GLOW BLUSHES in FLUFF and WISP as they have not arrived at the time of writing. But they’re in here too. I can’t say no to blush. Or Morphe apparently.
