Emmie’s Empties – October 2026

Posted on October 30, 2026October 29, 2026 by emmiesbeautylifeadmin

Empties! I have them and you want to know about them. Let’s get stuck into what I used up in October. This will be another small-ish round up. But I have a few declutters in the mix to chat about. So, let’s dive on in.

NAKED SUNDAYS CABANA CLEAR WATER GEL SERUM SPF 50+ – $62.00 for 50ml
Kicking us off, this has the one-two punch of being a free gift and a brand that I’ve previously been sent in PR. So, I REALLY cannot state my opinion on it. But if you see it in my stash again, then you know *eyes off bathroom cupboard*

TATCHA THE SILK CREAM – $205.00
If you see the full size of this in a future empties, just roll with it…

SUMMER FRIDAYS JET LAG MASQUE – $43.00 for 28g
Still an all time favourite. A retinol night essential to lock in the hydration. Would get again.

THE ORDINARY SALICYLIC ACID 2% MASQUE – $22.00
Wasn’t wild about the consistency. But still a solid, affordable option for when my skin was playing up. I would get again.

NIOD FLAVANOE MUD – $61.00
Holy grail mask. Will never not recommend it.

Q+A COLLAGEN FACE CREAM – £12.50*
Now this one is interesting. I had it lined up as a declutter because I just didn’t jive with the consistency. It’s very thick and almost reminds me of clay. But from the research I’ve done, it looks like this has been discontinued from the Australian market. There are still some UK retailers that carry it. But nowhere here. Not a huge loss though. It is quite bad.

THE QUICK FLICK QUICK FACED 2 IN 1 INVISIBLE OIL CONTROL & SETTING POWDER SPRAY – $20.00
A godsend during summer when I wanted to quickly touch up my makeup. I do have another that I was very kindly sent. So, you will see this again.

MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL BODY MASCARA – $28.99
Easily my biggest beauty letdown of 2026. I was so looking forward to this mascara and it was a smudgy mess. I’ll probably hold onto this so I can talk about it again in January.

DAISO PUFF & SPONGE DETERGENT – $3.80
Still my go to sponge and cream brush cleaner. It’s affordable and works like a charm. And my folks were kind enough to buy me three more bottles when they went to Singapore. So, I am well stocked.

ESSENCE LASH PRINCESS MASCARA – $7.00
Still no.

GEM SKIN LOVING DEODORANT – $10.50
Gotta say, I was a little let down by the Marshmallow scent! And you know that I’m a Marshmallow girly. So for me to not like this is shocking. I should rephrase, I do like it. It just doesn’t smell like marshmallow to me. Vanilla Macadamia is still elite.

KERASTASE GLOSS ABSOLU HYDRA-ILLUMINATING SHAMPOO – $64.00 & GLOSS ENHANCING CONDITIONER – $77.00
Not my favourite range from Kerastase (the Premiere range is top tier). But one I would get again. The conditioner was particularly lovely and hydrating. And the bottle is huge! You get so much product.

And that is a wrap on my October empties! I hope you all have an amazing, spooky weekend. And I’ll catch you back here on Tuesday with an all new post!

Cheers and love
Emily xo
