Happy June everyone! Is everyone else freezing their tail off or is it just me? I have a heap of empties to get through. And you’re going to notice a lot of eye creams samples this month. And that’s because I actually finished my favourite eye cream and I thought I should make my way through some of the samples. So, if you want to know what I used up last month jut keep reading!
OLE HENRIKSEN BANANA BRIGHT EYE CREAM – $55.00
I’m yet to have a bad experience with Ole Henriksen as a brand and this is another win in my books. This stuff is phenomenal! It soaks right into the skin and it actively brightens my under eye area. I already have a new jar of this ready to go.
SWISSE BAMBOO FACIAL EXFOLIANT – $10.99
I actually didn’t mind this. I only used it maybe 1-2 times a week. Usually in the morning. And only when my skin was really playing up. I wouldn’t necessarily rush out and grab it again, but I wouldn’t say no to it in the future.
HELP@HAND MAKEUP PADS – $1.50
Love these! They don’t split or pill when wet. I’m currently using the Coles brand ones, but I like these better.
CLARISONIC RADIANCE BRUSH HEAD – $35.00
Do I really need to say anything here? I should probably start leaving this out of my empties because it’s pretty much assumed at this point.
CANCER COUNCIL FACE DAY WEAR MOISTURISER MATTE – $13.00
This was really good! It kept me nice and hydrated throughout the day and the SPF was a nice touch. I wouldn’t say no to picking this up again.
ESSANO SUPERFOODS TURMERIC RADIANCE SUPER SERUM – $30.00
Had no complaints about this one. It sinks into the skin really quickly and leaves a nice glow. I would consider grabbing this again if I saw it on sale. Especially now that we are in winter. I feel like my dry cheeks would appreciate the glow boost.
KIEHLS MIDNIGHT RECOVERY CONCENTRATE – $68.00
This has been in my skincare for so long, I’m actually interested to see how my skin fairs without it for a little while. But it is a goodie and something that I highly recommend.
REXONA CLINICAL PROTECTION SUMMER STRENGTH – $10.00
I know that I should be using a more environmentally friendly antiperspirant. But this stuff works! I wear this and I still smell good after a 9 hour shift at the nursery. Even my mum commented on it. I’m already using another one and this might be the only deodorant I ever buy from now on
PATCHOLOGY REJUVENATING EYE GELS – $23.00
I’m not that picky when it comes to eye patches. So these were pretty good. Nice and hydrating and not too slippery. I would grab these again if I saw them.
OMOROVICZA SILVER SKIN SAVIOUR – $128.00
I do remember two things about this mask sample. One, it was super stingy. Two, it wasn’t silver going on. Omorovicza is super expensive so I probably wouldn’t buy this outright but I wouldn’t turn down another sample.
LA ROCHE POSAY INTENSE SOOTHING FLUID FOR EYES AND FACE – $41.99
Now we are getting to the eye cream samples. I finished this one first and it’s way too light in consistency and I felt like it did nothing for me.
CAUDALIE EYE LIFTING BALM – $92.00
This had the same issue as the La Roche Posay. Very thin consistency. Wasn’t a fan.
CAUDALIE ENERGIZING AND SMOOTHING EYE CREME – $60.00
This one I liked a lot better. Pro tip with me, I like thicker eye creams that are super hydrating. I would actually buy the full size.
JURLIQUE SIGNATURE EYE CREAM – $65.00
I can honestly say I do not remember a thing about this. I am a bad beauty blogger.
CLINIQUE PEP START EYE CREAM – $44.00
The only eye cream out of the five that I’ve actually tried already. This one is actually pretty good. Not my favourite, but I do recommend it. The applicator on this is actually really nice.
And that is it for May! I’m actually proud of the amount of samples I finished. I still have a massive box to go though! In any case, I hope you have a fantastic day!
Cheers and love
Emmie xo
