Mecca Picks – June 2018

Over here in Australia, one of our biggest high end makeup retailers is a wonderful place called Mecca Maxima. And at the end of each month, they do a mass drop of new releases of makeup, skincare and hair products. As a result, there are way too many goodies that come out all at the same time and sometimes it can be a little overwhelming. So to help you guys out, I spent the majority of my week raiding the website and I picked out my top five products that I’m super excited to a) tell you guys about and b) get my hands on. For the sake of availability, I have stuck to products that are permanent to Mecca, so as much as I wanted to shout out the Nars Orgasm Lip Balm, I did leave that out. Now, on with the show!

TOO FACED NATURAL EYES NEUTRAL EYESHADOW COLLETION – $55.00
The original Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette was the very first Mecca purchase I ever made all the way back in 2014. I loved that palette to bits and used it pretty religiously. Sadly, I don’t own that palette anymore so I was pretty excited to see that Too Faced was reformulating and rereleasing it with all new packaging. I could have easily mentioned the entire collection here, and I do love the look of the lipsticks and the face palette, but nostalgia puts the Natural Eyes palette highest on my list.

SMASHBOX CALI CONTOUR PALETTE – $57.00
I have fallen in love with Smashbox powder products as of late and I have heard so many great things about this palette. It comes with three bronzing/contour shades, two highlighters and a blush.

URBAN DECAY ALL NIGHTER WATERPROOF SETTING POWDER – $55.00
One word. Waterproof. That’s all I need to hear! I have loved everything that I’ve tried from the All Nighter range so hopefully this is more of the same great quality.

HOURGLASS VEIL TRANSLUCENT SETTING POWDER $67.00
I’m such a sucker for a good loose setting powder for my under eye area and the internet has been raving about this powder. It is infused with a diamond light relective powder which will illuminate without looking overly sparkly, which I just love the sound of!

DRUNK ELEPHANT C-TANGO MULTIVITAMIN EYE CREAM – $93.00
I will never stop searching for the perfect eye cream/serum and I have been really impressed with the Drunk Elephant products that I have tried.

And those are my picks for this month! I really should be good and save my money, but I will admit that you may see some of these products featured here in the future.
