Why is it that every time I declare to the universe that I need to buckle down and save my money, someone else loudly announces ‘SALE’? In related news, Priceline’s 40% Skincare, Suncare and Tanning Sale starts today and goes until the 21st. As always, I have trawled through the Priceline website and picked out my personal recommendations.
SIMPLE CLEANSING FACE WIPES
Yeah, I know that cleansing wipes are already cheap as chips. But I’m a notorious tight arse and the less I have to pay for something that I use pretty much everyday, the better. In any case, these are my favourite cleansing wipes out there and I like having a good supply of them at hand. Usually I only every buy them on sale, so this works out well!
LOREAL PURE CLAY DETOXIFYING CHARCOAL MASK
I easily could recommend all of the masks in the Loreal Pure Clay range because they are all pretty phenomenal. The charcoal mask however is the one I keep going back to. It’s super effective at clearing the gunk out of my face and doesn’t irritate my face like some charcoal based masks can with me.
LA ROCHE POSAY EFFACLAR DUO PLUS
I have gone through countless samples of the Effaclar Duo over the years and it’s one of the most effective products that I have used that specifically targets acne. I do prefer the clear one, but the tinted ones are pretty dang good too!
LANOLIPS 101 OINTMENT
A good lip balm is essential to me and Lanolips make some of the best! Thick but not cloying and insanely hydrating, I have gone through way too many tubes to count! It’s also super useful on chapped fingers, bug bites and cuticles. And I do love a good multi use product.
LOREAL SUGAR SCRUBS PURIFYING SCRUB
Two Loreal products on one list? I need to cut this out! In all seriousness, I have just run out of the Purifying scrub and I will be buying it again. It uses a combination of coarse white sugar and kiwifruit seeds to really buff off dead skin cells and the end result is a baby soft face and a very happy me!
JOJOBA COMPANY 100% JOJOBA
I’ve saved the best until last. This is easily my favourite skincare product of all time! I have been using this as my night time moisturiser for nearly five years now and I will highly recommend it to anyone. It’s lightweight, soaks into the skin very quickly, unlike a lot of oils I have tried and there is no scent so if you have sensitive skin, this is good for you too!
