Who else loves a good, relaxing shower? For me, it’s one of my favourite ways to unwind after a long, hectic day at work. And even though I am the queen of the two minute shower, there are those occasions where I’ll take a little extra time to really pamper myself. So, that’s what I wanted to talk about today. I wanted to shine the spotlight on my current shower must haves! These are all products that I’ve been using for a while and I can’t wait to tell you all about them. So, let’s dive on in!
SUNDAE WHIPPED SHOWER FOAM in JUICY PEAR – $20.00
Sundae is one of the hottest new body washes in the game! They launched earlier this year with four body washes and the unique thing about them is that they are literally packaged and dispensed like whipped cream (or squirty cream for my British readers). The foam is very silky smooth and isn’t too strongly fragranced (this is speaking for the pear scent as I haven’t tried the other three). On the one hand, yes, the whole thing is very gimmicky and there are more affordable body washes out there. But this is also a lot of fun to use and it works well with my skin. I would maybe skip however if your body skin is more dry.
FIRST AID BEAUTY KP BUMP ERASER BODY SCRUB – $43.00
I’ve been a big fan of using more high strength exfoliating toners on the body to help with my Keratosis Pilaris for years. So when I saw a bunch of you raving about this body scrub from First Aid Beauty, I was immediately intrigued. As well as being a pumice based scrub, it also has a chemical exfoliant component. With Glycolic and Lactic Acids joining the party to help deeply cleanse and exfoliate the skin. I usually do this twice a week on my upper arms and back/bum area. And I’ve already noticed a huge difference in the feel of my skin and the amount of breakouts that I’m having.
FRANK BODY NON STOP HAIR DUO KIT – $34.95
Yeah, I do like a shampoo/conditioner combo. But sometimes my hair craves a little bit more. And on those occasions, only Frank Body will do. The Non Stop Hair Duo consists of the Caffeinated Scalp Scrub and the Caffeinated Hair Mask. Both of which have been huge game changers for my hair routine. The Scalp Scrub is a Walnut and Pumice based scrub. Meaning that it’s super gritty and it does such an excellent job at breaking down all of the old dry shampoo and other products that regular shampooing might miss. The Hair Mask is super luxurious. Not only does it soothe the scalp post scrub, it really penetrates the hair, strengthening it and helping it feeling as silky and shiny as it can be. I do both treatments maybe one a fortnight (the scrub is quite strong). And my hair always feels better after doing it.
And those are my current shower faves! Let me know in the comments below what you love using in the shower to treat yourself. I’m always looking for new goodies to try out.
Cheers and love
