Bellabox First Impressions – November 2021

Hip hip hooray! It’s Bellabox’s 10th birthday! You know, I always thought that the birthday person was meant to get the pressies, not me. In any case, we have a bumper box this month. So, let’s dive on in!

Normally I wouldn’t comment on the box itself. But for the 10th birthday celebrations, select members got a throwback moment with the old polka dot boxes! I’ll always have a soft spot for these boxes. Plus, they make great makeup storage

W7 FLIRTY EYES MASCARA – $4.99
2021 was a big year for higher end mascara testing! So much so, that I do feel like I have abandoned my drugstore roots. So, when I had the option between this and a highlighter as the hero product for this month’s box, it was no contest. Now, I don’t have a lot of experience with W7. But I do know that they are famous for their dupes. So I am curious to see what this mascara is duping. Stay tuned!

DERMAL THERAPY HEEL BALM PLATINUM – $6.95
Much like the Wet Ones a few boxes back, a heel balm is the kind of product that I would have rolled my eyes over a few years ago. Now that I’m in my 30’s and my feet are constantly cracked and dry, this stuff is basically gold to me. You bet your booty I’m using this.

VUSH YOU DO YOU INTIMATE WIPES – $10.00 for a 30pk
Are these the most environmentally friendly product? Probably not. But you know what. There are those days where my coochie meow meow isn’t feeling that fresh. And toilet paper just won’t cut it. That’s where wipes like these are a godsend. Especially now that it’s getting hotter. Plus, Vush is such an awesome brand and I love that Bellabox is working with them.

ARUM GINSENG COOL SCALP CLEANSE – $55.00
Out of the products I got this month, this is the one I’m the most intrigued over. I do use a lot of product in my hair (dry shampoo, mousse, etc.). And all of that does weigh on my scalp. So, a scalp cleanser is brilliant for loosing up all of that stuff from your scalp and washing it away. And in turn, it’ll help with overall hair growth and strength! It’s also meant to be effective for dandruff and itchiness.

CANCER COUNCIL FACE DAY WEAR BB CREAM LIGHT TINT – $16.00
The amount of times I have had this product in my hands only to put it back over the years is astounding! I’m just super picky when it comes to tinted sunscreen products because the amount you have to wear to get any benefit out of them is a lot. Like, a lot a lot. Hannah English has an amazing video on her Instagram going into more detail. In any case, at least I get to see if it’s any good for myself. I still will probably wear a non tinted sunscreen underneath.

INNISFREE GREEN TEA SEED SERUM – $39.00
Easily one of the most hyped products in Innisfree’s line, the Green Tea Seed Serum is meant to be fantastic for drawing moisture into the skin. I have always wanted to try it and now I can!
