What? You thought you were going to have to wait until later in the month for a mascara review? Not a chance! I basically spent my entire break finally getting around to trying out the latest iteration of the Covergirl Lash Blast Family. The Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara! I have heard a ton of positive buzz about this one. So, if you want to hear my thoughts, just keep reading!
COVERGIRL LASH BLAST CLEAN VEGAN VOLUME MASCARA – $20.95 – priceline.com.au
Starting with the packaging, the Lash Blast Clean Mascara is housed in the iconic Lash Blast style packaging. If you’ve never seen the Lash Blast mascara before, envision a long, stretched out oblong and you’re pretty much bang on. Instead of the bright orange packaging however, this packaging is a bright teal blue. You know, because clean. The Lash Blast Clean Mascara is Vegan, Cruelty Free and contains 13.1ml of product.
The wand is a short, chunky, rubberised wand with short, thin bristles that are quite close together. Again, If you have used the original Lash Blast, you’ve used this wand. It is basically identical. The only difference is that the bristles are teal instead of orange.
The big difference this time is the formula. It’s a thicker, waxier formula than I remember the original Lash Blast being. But it works nicely with the style of wand this mascara has as the short bristles allow for even. clump free coverage. Even doing this swatch, I noticed that any splotchiness was easily smoothed out. The pigment is very rich and black, as most mascaras are. And I noticed that the formula had a pleasant scent. Not one that lingered for too long. But I did notice it. The formula does contain Argan and Marula oil, so I’m guessing that’s what I’m smelling.
Upon initial application, I have to say I was really impressed with it. The short bristles meant that I not only got even coverage I mentioned before, it allowed for a decent amount of separation as well. It also gave me that beautiful, wispy lash effect with just a hint of volume and length that I’ve been all about lately. Things only improved however when I went in for the second coat. That’s where the volume kicks into high gear and I got some decent length and curl. It’s not a super dramatic lash effect, but I really like it!
And now, the wear test. And oh my goodness, y’all! This mascara wears so much better than I ever could have expected. Legit, what witchcraft is in this mascara that I can wear it on multiple 40 degree days and have it not budge? I’ve had no flaking, minimal transfer. The worst thing I could possibly say about it is that I did notice that my curl had drooped somewhat after around 8 hours of wear. But if that’s the worst thing this mascara does, then it’s still better than half of the high end mascara’s I tried in 2021.
Yeah, this is a run, don’t walk. The Covergirl Lash Blast Clean Mascara is a definite must try for you all. And I’m so, so tempted to sneak it into my 2021 favourites (I did start trialing it then, so it counts). But yeah, This is a goodie that I strongly recommend.
Well, that is all for the Covergirl Lash Blast Clean Mascara. But before I wrap this post up, this is my 100th review for Emmie’s Beauty Life! I want to thank all of you for reading my blog and keeping me motivated to keep going. You are all the best!
Cheers and love

Congratulations on your 100th review! I will need to try this mascara out, I always trust your reviews and recommendations. I am still enjoying the Mecca Max Whip Lash mascara you recommended, but it will need to get changed over soon.
