Happy Tuesday everyone. Before I dive into today’s post, I’ll quickly address my absence from last Friday. Long story short, I had some technical difficulties on my end that made it borderline impossible to post for a few days there. It seems to be sorted now though, which is great! In any case, it’s empties time once again. It’s another little one, but still a goodie. Let’s get into it!
BIODERMA SENSIBIO MAKEUP REMOVING MICELLE SOLUTION – $29.95
The original, and still the best. You already know I have a fresh new bottle in my bathroom to replace this one!
SUNDAE WHIPPED SHOWER FOAM in JUICY PEAR – $20.00
Is this gimmicky? Yes. I still thoroughly enjoyed using it. I adored the pear scent and I would certainly consider picking it up again. Definitely on sale.
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE SUPERFOOD CLEANSER – $55.00*
I am so gutted that this is empty. A main player in my 2021 skincare favourites, this might be my favourite low/no acid cleanser ever. And one I will be repurchasing sooner rather than later.
JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ EASE WEIGHTLESS WONDER SHAMPOO – $17.99 AND CONDITIONER – $17.99
I didn’t do a miscellaneous favourites for 2021. But this is easily the best shampoo/conditioner duo that I have ever tried. This duo leaves my hair so soft, manageable, and most importantly, light weight. I am obsessed and the only reason why I haven’t repurchased it is because there is a very famous haircare duo that I managed to finally get around to trying.
ESSANO COLLAGEN BOOST CREME CLEANSER – $20.00*
Another cleanser that got sacrificed as a body wash. This I wouldn’t seek out (the rose scent was a little much). But I did like the consistency.
ELEMIS PRO COLLAGEN MARINE CREAM – $182.00*
Another 2021 favourite here. Such a phenomenal moisturiser that is 100% worth the hype. The only thing holding me back from repurchasing is that price tag (Y’all should have seen the look on my face when I discovered it cost THAT much)
ELEMIS PRO COLLAGEN CLEANSING BALM – $91.00*
Way, way, way on the other end of the spectrum however is the cleansing balm. Now, as a balm, it’s pretty good. A little soft for my liking, but it didn’t leave a residue and it left my face feeling clean. But, how can anyone stand the scent of this? This balm has that horrible, medicinal, herbal scent that stung my eyes and burned my nose every time I used it. The only reason why this is an empty as opposed to a declutter is that I didn’t want to waste it. I have since discovered that Elemis has a Superfood cleansing balm that is much better smelling.
HOLIFROG SUNNYSIDE C GLOW SERUM – $99.00*
An accidental empty here (I forgot to make sure that the cap was closed before I took it with me to Townsville). But the little bit I did manage to use I quite liked. Nice texture and it paired well with my other serums. I might pick this up again soon.
KM MAKEUP COMODO BLENDER – $9.95
Ahh, Bellabox. You are now 2 for 2 when it comes to sending me awesome sponges. The KM sponge had a nice squish to it and it didn’t absorb as much makeup as some of the sponges I have tried. When I’m back to wearing makeup, I might grab a few of these.
SKIN CONTROL DAYTIME NIGHTTIME PIMPLE PATCHES – $9.00
The last of my 2021 faves to make their way into my empties. I have absolutely already repurchased.
DAISO PUFF SPONGE DETERGENT – $2.80
Still never running out of this.
And those are my empties! A few 2021 faves in the mix. But it gives me a opportunity to try all new things and perhaps find new favourites. Let me know what you used up down below.
Cheers and love
Emily xo
Wow, I didn’t realise Elemis was so expensive! Such a shame the cap was loose on the Holifrog serum. I will need to try the John Frieda shampoo and conditioner, I need all the help I can get to tame my frizz! Great empties here!
