Well, it’s been around six months. Which means it’s high time I did another deep dive on what I’m using in the morning as far as skincare goes. I have actually changed up my routine quite a bit since I last did this. And I have a lot of thoughts on the products that I’m using. So, let’s get to chatting.
I always start my routine with brushing my teeth (a good reminder for us all). And for my first cleanse, I’m back to using my beloved BIODERMA SENSIBIO MICELLER CLEANSING WATER – $29.95. Hey, I did say I’ve changed up some of my products, not all of them. In any case, I’ve been using Bioderma for years. I love it to bits. But when I run out of this bottle, I probably won’t immediately repurchase it because I have a few cleansers I want to work through first.
For my toner/mist step, I’ve been loving the NIOD SUPEROXIDE DISMUTASE SACCHARIDE MIST – $75.00. This is a widely beloved product online. And now that I’ve been using it for a while, I can see why. As well as it being a super soothing and refreshing mist, I am noticing that my skin is a lot less red and irritated in the morning.
As far as serums go, for a while, I was using quite a few in my routine. But then heaven sent me an angel in the form of the TBH SKINCARE X HANNAH ENGLISH REBOUND – $68.00. In the words of Stefon, this serum has everything. Niacinamide and Panthenol for calming and refining pores. Centella and Copper Peptides for soothing and repairing the skin. Hyaluronic Acid for hydration. I’ve been using it for about a week or so now and I’m already beginning to notice that my skin just looks better. It’s out of stock now, but it will be back soon!
For the sake of transparency, I will also share the serums I was using in my routine prior to Rebound. My biggies were the HOLIFROG GALILEE ANTIOXIDANT DEWY DROP SERUM – $74.00 and the GLOW RECIPE PLUM PLUMP HYALURONIC SERUM – $63.00 for hydration The ALYA SKIN VITAMIN C SUPERCHARGED SERUM – $39.95* for brightening. The GLOW RECIPE WATERMELON GLOW NIACINAMIDE DEW DROPS – $51.00 for that glowy dew. And finally, I’m still enjoying the Q+A SKINCARE PEPTIDE FACIAL SERUM – $18.00* for repairing my skin.
For moisturiser, I’m currently juggling two that I’m quite enjoying. They are the NATURIUM MULTI PEPTIDE MOISTURISER – $33.50* and THE INKEY LIST OMEGA WATER CREAM – $19.78*. Of the two, I will say I like the Naturium a little bit better. But for an affordable option, The Inkey List is pretty good. I do find I need to go in with my LA ROCHE POSAY THERMAL SPRING WATER first before I use it.
Finally, sunscreen. The most important step, I would argue. And again, I’m currently juggling between a couple. Usually it’s whichever one I reach first on my shelf. I’m still very much loving the ULTRA VIOLETTE QUEEN SCREEN SKINSCREEN – $47.00. But the LA ROCHE POSAY ANTHELIOS ULTRA SPF 50+ – $29.99* and the CANCER COUNCIL FACE DAY WEAR FLUID MATTE SPF 50+ – $18.95* are also in heavy rotation.
And that is my current routine! So many skincare goodies, so little time. What are your must haves in your skincare routine? Let me know in the comments below!
Cheers and love
