Spotlight On – Underrated Faves From Viral Brands

Thanks to the explosion of TikTok, the beauty community is bigger than ever! And it does seem like every other day, a brand can go viral and become the biggest thing on the app. With their new launches becoming instant sell outs. Personally, when I think of TikTok viral makeup brands, brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, and Huda Beauty immediately spring to mind. All three are brands that I personally love. But some of my favourite products from them are ones that I feel like aren’t as well known. So, today, I wanted to shine a spotlight on three products that I feel like deserve a little bit more love. Let’s get into it!

DIOR FOREVER SKIN CORRECT CONCEALER – $71.00
When it comes to me and concealers, I do tend to prefer something that is a light, serumy formula that I can easily build up if I need to. The Dior Forever Skin Correct is not that at all. By far, this is the most full coverage concealer that I own. And I absolutely swear by it. When I don’t want to wear a full face of foundation, but I still want coverage, I just dot this all over my face and go. It covers my under eyes and my imperfections with ease. But it doesn’t feel heavy. And it’s great for mature skin because it doesn’t crease like crazy on me. Now, I know that this has recently been reformulated. So, I’ll have to check that out. But this one is still available at the time of writing.

HUDA BEAUTY GLOWISH SOFT RADIANCE BRONZING POWDER – $49.00
I very easily could have shouted out the entire Glowish line here. Because I swear I hear no one talk about it. Almost everything that I’ve tried from the line I’ve loved (that tinted moisturiser is a pass). Now, I shouted out the blush in my favourites last month. And now, it’s the bronzer’s turn. Much like the aforementioned concealer, the Glowish Soft Radiance Bronzer isn’t what I would normally go for (I do prefer a matte bronzer). But the sunkissed glow that this gives suits me perfectly. It’s also so easy to blend out. This has been my go to summer bronzer since I got it. And I will rave about it at any given opportunity.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY COLLAGEN LIP BATH – $48.00
Ok, I’m going to keep this short. The Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath’s isn’t just my favourite lip product from Charlotte Tilbury. It’s my favourite lip product, period. I have been bleating on about these for years. And it kills me that no one talks about them because they are so good! The shine, the plump, the tint. Everything about them is basically perfect to me. They can do no wrong. The shades I have are Walk Of No Shame and Pillow Talk. They will be buried with me.
