I love beauty minis. They are such a great way to try out a product before you actually commit to buying the full size. Especially if the product is already a touch on the pricey size. And it’s through trying out minis that I have discovered some truly awesome treasures. That’s what I’ll be talking about today. These are the five minis that I not only recommend, but I will buy the full size.
FENTY BEAUTY GLOSS BOMB UNIVERSAL LUMINIZER – $30.00 – sephora.com.au
I feel like I have plugged this gloss to death here, but it really is the best gloss I have ever used! It’s just so perfect for day to day wear. Shiny, but not sticky. Shimmery, but not gritty and it smells like candy heaven. I have been unable to stop wearing it and it is so well loved that I’ve now almost entirely used it up!
SOAP & GLORY SUGAR CRUSH BODY BUTTERCREAM – $20.00 – mecca.com.au
Another product that I mention in my favourites, The Soap & Glory Buttercream is a super thick body lotion containing cocoa butter, almond oil and coconut oil that is highly effective at hydrating dry skin. I’ve have used this throughout winter (and it has been an especially cold winter this year) and my skin has been smooth and hydrated and I will definitely grab the full size for next winter.

I am not a cream contour person. And I won’t lie, I had this sitting in my collection for a bit before I decided one day to actually give it a go. This is so freaking good! The colour of the stick is a bit warm for me to use as a contour, but it’s perfect to use as a cream bronzer, I just put a bit around the perimeter of my face, blend it out (it blends out so easily) and it gives me a fresh, bronzed glow to my skin. I now use this all the time, especially if I’m in a hurry or I want to do a simple makeup look.

This is one of those cult skincare products that I’ve always known about but assumed I would never buy. Thanks to the sample, it has shot straight to the top of my wish list. I used it with my nighttime skincare routine, applying it right before I moisturised. The consistency was more liquid than I expected (I assumed it was more gel like) but it soaked into my skin like a dream, leaving no heaviness on the skin. I noticed results from this within 5 days. My skin looked smoother, brighter and some of my acne scarring looked more reduced. Believe the hype, this is as good as people say!
BOSCIA TSUBAKI SWIRL TWO PART GEL & CREAM DEEP HYDRATION MOISTURISER – $38.00 – boscia.com
Right off the bat, I have never used a moisturiser like this! It literally is a gel cream hybrid, with the cream suspended in the gel. I use a small scoop of this in the morning and it soaks into my skin immediately, leaving it feeling so incredibly smooth and hydrated. It doesn’t clog my pores, it doesn’t make my feel any more oily than usual and because Boscia is a brand known for natural skincare, I know that there aren’t any hidden nasties in this either. It’s currently out of stock on the Australian Sephora site, but as soon as it’s back, I’m grabbing this in the full size and I highly recommend it.
