A little bit over a year ago, I did a blog post that was all about my affordable makeup faves. These were products that could easily stand toe to toe with their high end counterparts and were a third of the price. Now, since that post went live, the price of makeup has gone through the roof. So, I figured it was time for a part 2. Many of these are newer launches and I have a few older faves in the mix too. Best of all, they are all under $20! Let’s get into it!
COVERGIRL TRUBLEND UNDERCOVER CONCEALER – $18.95
The Covergirl Trublend range has been around for longer than I can remember. Which means that it’s a range that can easily be overlooked in the drugstore. And while I can’t say that I’m a fan of the original foundation, I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the concealer. It’s a medium to full coverage concealer. But the finish is natural enough for me to wear it on low makeup days. If you’re in the market for a new concealer, this is worth checking out.
E.L.F. PUTTY BRONZER – $14.00
I did a post earlier this week chatting about some of my favourite cream bronzers. But I left this one from E.L.F off because it was a little too new for me to include it. I’ve used it a few times now and I’m already obsessed! The shade I have is Golden Daze and it’s just a dream to apply to the skin. I especially love it with a buff blending brush. The finish looks so skin like and it wears beautifully.
ESSENCE FIX IT LIKE A BOSS TRANSPARENT BROW GEL – $6.50*
The Essence Make Me Brow is easily one of their most iconic brow products. But if I’m being honest, I like this one way more. As someone who is already blessed with big, bushy brows, I just need a gel that is going to have them in shape all day long. And the Fix It Like A Boss does just that. If you’re a fan of that feathered soap brow effect, you need to give this a go.
MECCA MAX ZOOM SHADOW STICK – $19.00
I recommended the Mecca Max palettes in my first post. But if you ask me, the Zoom Shadow Sticks are where it’s at when it comes to their eyeshadows. Especially now that they have their matte range. These are unbelievably easy to blend out. And once they are blended, they don’t budge. They have nearly every shade you could possibly want (still waiting on that lilac shade, y’all). I couldn’t recommend them more.
AUSTRALIS LIP GLAZE – $16.99
Lip oils have been one of the more buzzy products from 2023. And Australis launched easily one of the best ones this year. The Lip Glazes have one of the lightest, silkiest formulas that I’ve come across. And they feel so nourishing on the lips. I have the shades Crystal Clear and Cherry Bomb. But I feel like you can’t go wrong with any of them.
And these are some of my favourite affordable makeup goodies! What is your affordable makeup must have? Let me know in the comments below.
Cheers and love
