How on Earth are we already at the end of August? Halloween is two months away. I saw a Christmas ad on TV yesterday. This year has gone by way too quickly! But before we leave August, lets do a quick dive into the products that I loved this month!
HASK ARGAN OIL REPAIRING SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER – $15.00
My mum has been raving about the Hask range of Shampoo’s and Conditioner’s for months now. So I grabbed the Argan Oil one to try out when it was on sale. This shampoo and conditioner is unlike any I have ever used. It actually makes my hair feel clean and weightless. It’s also the first hair care range that I have used where I can get away with not washing my hair every night (I have very fine hair that gets oily very quickly). It took me a few weeks to get use to, but now that I am, I refuse to go back to anything else. I love this stuff!
ULTA3 FRESH FACED SERUM FOUNDATION in IVORY – $12.95
I have a review of this foundation coming soon, but I have to tell you guys about this foundation because I’m obsessed! Normally, my oily face avoids anything that is marketed as radiant, which this foundation is. But this works with my skin so well! My sole complaint is that the shade range isn’t great (four shades, really?) and I hope that they expand the range because this foundation is really good.
RIMMEL BROW THIS WAY BROW GEL in BRUNETTE – $12.95
I will always love Benefit Gimme Brow, but in terms of drugstore dupes, this one easily stands toe to toe. The gel has a great amount of hold to it and it added a nice tint to my brows, making it perfect for occasions where I couldn’t be bothered filling in my brows properly.
LANOLIPS 101 OINTMENT in PEACH – $14.95
My lips have gone through it this winter and this stuff has been essential. I mostly use it as a lip mask before bed, but I have also been using it throughout the day now because it creates almost like a barrier for your lips, protecting them from the elements and keeping my lips smooth. This is one of those products that every time I use it, I’m reminded how much I love it.
HOURGLASS CONFESSIONS LIPSTICK in I’LL NEVER STOP – $49.00
In another case of ‘I forgot how good this was until I started using it again’, if I was wearing a lipstick in August, chances are it was this one. I know that this lipstick is hideously expensive, but I’ll buy five more of these in a heartbeat. The formula is smooth, creamy, and oh so comfortable. It also lasts a pretty long time on the lips as well.
And those are my August favourites! Let me know what you have been loving down below. See you in Spring!
Cheers and love
