A few years back, I did a Spotlight On post on the things that I had been using as part of my nighttime shower routine. And I have to say, I can’t believe that it’s taken me this long to get around to doing a part 2. Over the last year especially, I’ve been taking greater care when it comes to what I’ve been using in my hair care and body care routine. And I’ve made quite a few discoveries that I cannot wait to share. Let’s get into it!
EVERYDAY BY FRANK BODY HYDRATING BODY WASH – $14.00
I think I’ve mentioned in the past that I wasn’t that picky when it comes to body washes. These days, however, I definitely am. I want something that is going to leave my skin feeling cleansed without also feeling stripped of all of my moisture. And this one from Frank Body has been my favourite for a hot minute. Not only does this body wash smell incredible (I’m a sucker for anything cucumber), it’s also loaded with Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera and Glycerin to help keep that moisture where it belongs. I will also add that Frank Body has a few body washes in this line (the Clearing one with Salicylic Acid is also amazing). So they are bound to have something to suit you.
BRIOGEO DON’T DESPAIR, REPAIR DEEP CONDITIONING MASK – $63.00
My hair is pretty well behaved these days. But I do cop some dryness from time to time. So, once a week, I do like doing a hair mask. Over the years, I’ve tried a few that I liked. But the Don’t Despair, Repair is the only one that I genuinely love. The thing I love about it the most is that it’s conditioning. But it never leaves my hair feeling heavy once I’ve rinsed it out. In fact, I’m always amazed at how lightweight my hair feels for the first few days after using this. Briogeo has a ton of winners in their line. But if you have dryness or frizziness, I cannot recommend this enough.
FRANK BODY HYALURONIC ACID BODY SERUM – $28.00
I wanted to gatekeep this one so badly. But, it turns out that this is already a favourite amongst many of you. So yeah, believe the hype. Because the Hyaluronic Acid Body Serum from Frank Body has been an absolute game changer for my scaly winter skin. This quick absorbing body serum is a triple threat of Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides, and Niacinamide to help repair the skin barrier and keep the moisture locked in. I love this both on it’s own or paired with a body cream to really load up that moisture. The best thing about it is that it takes no time to absorb into the skin. Which is perfect for those who hate that sticky feeling that can sometimes come from products like this. Also, it smells like peaches. Enough said.
And that’s what I’ve been loving during my shower time! Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of these. And also what body and hair care you’ve been loving!
Cheers and love
