Happy Friday, y’all! We are back here again to chat about some amazing, budget friendly makeup products. All five of these products are cruelty free, under $20 each, and all have my stamp of approval. Let’s get into it!
OXX COSMETICS BRONZER BALM – $6.00
Might as well start with the new hotness. For those outside of Australia, OXX has been the in house cosmetics brand for Kmart for the last few years. And while I was initially unimpressed by their range at launch (I have an OXX eyeshadow review somewhere in the archives), they have really stepped up their game over the last couple of months. With the Bronzer Balm in Fawn becoming the breakout product all over social media. I’ve seen some compare it to the Makeup By Mario Skin Enhancer. Going as far as calling it a dupe. I personally wouldn’t go that far. The formulas are a little too different. But this is an excellent cream bronzer that has an almost powder like finish on the skin. It didn’t lift my foundation when I applied it. And it wore all day without fading. Now make more shades, OXX. More people should get to experience how good this is.
ESSENCE SENSITIVE BUT WOW VOLUME MASCARA – $8.00*
Long time followers will know that I have a love/hate relationship when it comes to Essence Mascaras. But this might be the best one that I’ve tried to date. It’s the perfect day to day mascara. It gives separation, lift, length, and volume. Best of all, I had basically no transfer or smudging with it. Go forth and purchase, my good folks!
ELF COSMETICS WOW BROW GEL – $9.00
It’s no secret that the Essence Make Me Brow is my favourite tinted brow gel. But this one from ELF has really impressed me as of late. First of all, it has the teeny tiny wand that I love. And it leaves such a natural tint to the brows. With just enough hold to keep them in place. Definitely worth checking out.
MECCA MAX SINGLE SHADOW – $10.00
I’ve mentioned the Mecca Max mini palettes and the eyeshadow sticks in previous posts. But if you like a one and done eyeshadow, you can’t go wrong with these! The shades featured are Like, Whatever (matte lilac), 90’s Kid (metallic blue), and Space Jam (metallic green). But there are 24 in the range and they are all beautiful. These apply and blend like a freaking dream. I definitely want more of them
COVERGIRL CLEAN FRESH YUMMY GLOSS – $19.95
Well, this came out of nowhere! I picked this up recently because BrittReviews over on Instagram was raving about them. And you know what, folks? She was dang right. This gloss is freaking gorgeous. This is the shade Havana Good Time. And it makes my lips look so juicy and rosy. Also, they smell like a tropical vacay. Which I desperately need. I also love the doe foot on this. Because it’s a chonky one. Which works well with the formula of this gloss.
And these are some more recent, budget friendly faves! Let me know in the comments what affordable beauty products you’ve been trying?
Cheers and love
