Happy Halloween, my spooky ghouls! I have no tricks here, just a scary amount of empties that I’m dying to talk about. Let’s get into it.
CHRISTOPHE ROBIN CLEANING PURIFYING SCRUB WITH SEA SALT – $71.00 for 250ml
Full disclosure, this has probably been sitting in my shower since May. So, I remember nothing about this.
CHRISTOPHE ROBIN REGENERATING MASK WITH RARE PRICKLY PEAR OIL – $85.00 for 250ml
This I remember a bit more vividly. It was good, but I’ve used better and more affordable hair masks. One of which I’ll be chatting about soon.
ANIHANA SHOWER STEAMER in PEPPERMINT & EUCALYPTUS – $5.00
I bought this back then it was a newer launch to use when I got sick. And while I still haven’t been sick, per say, this came in handy when I had an allergy attack earlier in the month. Very soothing. I would buy this scent again.
THE ORDINARY NATURAL MOISTURISING FACTORS + HA – $22.40*
As someone who has an oily scalp, I didn’t get much use out of this. So, I passed it to Dennis (his scalp does lean dry). And he got a lot of this. Probably wouldn’t grab it again in a hurry though as it took him forever to use.
BRIOGEO DON’T DESPAIR, REPAIR DEEP CONDITIONING MASK – $63.00
Now this is my favourite hair mask of all time! I love this with my clarifying shampoo’s to bring moisture back to my locks. I will absolutely repurchase.
L’OREAL PARIS TELESCOPIC LIFT MASCARA – $31.99
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Absolutely fucking not.
MAYBELLINE THE COLOSSAL 36hr MASCARA – $25.99
This, on the other hand, I wouldn’t kick out of bed. Not my fave from Maybelline. But still good.
GUINOT LOTION HYDRA BEAUTE TONING LOTION – $62.00*
Too pricey for me to consider buying. Especially because it did little for me. Sorry.
EVERYDAY BY FRANK BODY HYDRATING BODY WASH – $14.00
I loved the smell of this. But I loved the efficacy of the Clearing Body Wash more. Also, just found out that they sell refills of these body washes. That’s awesome!
THE INKEY LIST FULVIC ACID BRIGHTENING CLEANSER – $19.00*
Out of the three Inkey List cleansers that I’ve tried, this would be a close second. I love the Hydrating one the most. But I would buy this again before I buy the Salicylic Acid one (the irony being that the SA one is the one that I currently have)
MILK MAKEUP HYDRO GRIP MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY – $62.00
I shall reiterate what I said in my review. Liked the product. Hated the packaging. And I’ve tried better setting sprays overall that I don’t need to get this again (I’ve replaced this in my stash with the Rare Beauty Setting Spray)
MECCA COSMETICA TO SAVE SKIN AFTER SUN MIST – $32.00
A godsend in Summer. I kept this in my fridge for those hot days. I definitely want another one.
BETTYQUETTE GET UP AND GLOW HYDRATING FACE OIL – $45.00*
I’ve had this for way too long. But I still enjoyed it a lot. I definitely recommend Bettyquette for all of your face and body oil needs.
BONDY SANDS SUNNY DAZE HYDRATING SPF 50 MOISTURISER – $22.95
*TGA Disclosure – Purchased Myself*. This was fine. Like I mentioned last month, I do prefer organic sunscreens these days as opposed to mineral sunscreens. So, colour me very interested in the new Sunny Daze that just launched.
All righty, y’all. That is a wrap on my empties for October. I hope that you all have an amazing day. And that November is awesome to you all!
Cheers and love
Emily xo
There are some hits and misses here but great job on all your empties!
