Y’all, it’s the first Sephora sale of 2024. This sale kicked off online last night and will run online and in store until the 17th of March. The discount? 20% store wide with a minimum spend of $120. And I am so ready to share my picks. As Sephora has had an incredible run of launches as of late. I actually found it difficult to narrow it to five. But five is what I have. Let’s get into the picks.
MILK MAKEUP COOLING WATER JELLY TINT – $44.00
We’ll start with what I believe to be one of the biggest launches of the year so far. The Cooling Water Jelly Tints have gone super mega viral online due to their bouncy, jelly like texture and their surprisingly long wear time. Like, these are a true stain. But shockingly easy to work with. I love rubbing a bit onto a beauty blender and bouncing it onto the skin that way. I have the shades Chill and Splash. Both are absolutely stunning. I am tempted to go back for the other two.
HUDA BEAUTY MATTE OBSESSIONS EYESHADOW PALETTE- $55.00
So, this may not be the all matte palette you were expecting me to talk about here (that one is on it’s way). But please allow me to talk you into buying this palette for the next 50-70 words. Huda Beauty has always had some of my favourite eyeshadow palettes. But even I will admit that the Obsessions range is hit or miss. The Matte Obsessions, however, she knocked out of the park! This formula is so easy and effortless to work with. I love how buildable they are. Most importantly, they last on the eyes all day with no fading or creasing. I’ve actually been keeping this palette as a permanent part of my makeup drawer for those occasions where I just need a pop of brown in the crease (that bottom middle shade was made for me, I swear). And for those greige lovers, there is a cool toned Mattes Palette too!
K18 LEAVE IN MOLECULAR REPAIR HAIR MASK – $100.00
I gushed about this in my most recent favourites. So I won’t be long here. Suffice it to say, if you’re wanting to try it, now is the time! You will not regret it.
BENEFIT FANFEST MASCARA – $49.00
Another one that I have gushed over a lot recently. Seriously, Benefit did the dang thing when it comes to the Fanfest Mascara. Some of the best lift and curl that I’ve ever gotten from a high end mascara. And if the price is still making you itch, they have a mini that’s almost half the price and size of this one.
THE 7 VIRTUES CHERRY AMBITION EDP – $44.00 for 10ml
NOTES – Top: Cherry, Pink Pepper, Marshmallow, Mandarin Orange. Middle: Saffron, Cherry Blossom, Orris, Osmanthus. Base: Frankincense, Vanilla, Guaiac Wood, Amber, Musk.
So, I actually picked this up on a whim during the last Sephora sale. As I’ve been kinda obsessed with Cherry perfumes as of late. Out of the now three that I own, I have to say this is probably the most unique. It’s sweet and juicy, but there is a floral note that makes it really stand out. It’s a very relaxed scent. Not at all medicinal. And it pairs especially well with some of my favourite Amber fragrances. Definitely one to check out.
And those are my picks. As for what I picked up…
Yeah, I went a little ham. A lot of these are newbies. But there are some classics that I’ve had my eye on for a while. If you want any reviews, just hit me up. And, as always, let me know what you grabbed during the sale in the comments.
Cheers and love
Emily xo
