Who’s in the mood for some shopping? I definitely am! And Chemist Warehouse is doing a heck of a sale at the moment. From now until the 29th of May, there is up to 50% off on all of their cosmetic ranges. Seeing as I haven’t really shouted out my drugstore faves that much this year, I figured I would give y’all some of my personal recommendations. These are all products that I’ve had in my routine for a hot minute and that I personally love. Let’s get into it!
RIMMEL LONDON MULTI TASKER BETTER THAN FILTERS – $14.97*
I’ve tried quite a few of the Hollywood Flawless Filter clones in my time. And if I’m being totally honest, this has been my favourite of the bunch. I especially love pairing this with BB Creams and skin tints to boost the coverage and add an additional glow. But I do love wearing it on it’s own. The colour match on me is pretty perfect. And on the skin, it just adds a lit from within glow.
NYX BARE WITH ME CONCEALER SERUM – $13.47
When I heard that NYX was finally launching at Chemist Warehouse, I screamed so loudly, I woke up my cats. NYX has been a brand that I’ve adored for years. And to see them expand their reach to us Aussies is awesome! I could have easily recommended anything from their line. But seeing as it’s in my current stash, I had to shout out the Bare With Me Concealer. This has such a lovely consistency. And the coverage looks so natural.
MAYBELLINE CITY BRONZER POWDER- $9.99
Every now and again, I come across a product that I want to gatekeep so badly. And for the last few years, it’s been the City Bronzer from Maybelline. I’m not crazy about the term ‘dupe’, but formula wise, this is so similar to the Fenty bronzer that I love so much. It looks warmer in the pic. But IRL, this is such a stunning neutral tone on the skin. I haven’t come across another bronzer like thus at the drugstore.
REVLON COLORSTAY XTENSIONAIRE MASCARA – $12.47
This one got the review treatment from me earlier in the year. And I still use it between reviews. It gives the flirtiest, fluttery effect to the lashes. I’m still very much loving this one. Pro tip, don’t be like me. Get the regular, not the waterproof version.
COVERGIRL CLEAN FRESH YUMMY GLOSS – $9.97
Now these I know I’ve recommended before. But it’s hard for me to not shout them out. This gloss formula leaves my lips looking so plump and juicy. Without any stickiness or irritation. I’ve been meaning to pick up a few more of these. And I might during the sale…
