Happy Tuesday everyone! Seeing as Autumn is nearly over, I figured it was high time for me to talk about my five faves for the last few months. Though it could have easily been a ten faves. For the first time in a while, I had a hard time narrowing down my favourites because I tried so many incredible products recently. But the five I have here are the top tier, cannot live without faves. Let’s talk about them.
TBH ACNE HACK ANTI BACTERIAL CLEANSER – $25.00
So, after I got back from Singapore, I had a really, really bad run of skin issues. I was breaking out constantly. More than I had in years. And this cleanser is one of the products that I credit to getting my skin back under control. Not only does this cleanse the skin, there are ingredients in it that actively target break outs. I wish I had this cleanser 20 years ago when I was first getting into skincare, It is a legitimate game changer. I will absolutely be repurchasing this when I run out.
VERB GHOST OIL – $33.57
I gave this a shout out in a post a few months back. But this has been such a lovely addition to my haircare routine. Especially now that it’s getting cooler and my hair is drier and more prone to frizz. A single pump is usually enough to do my hair. I actually mostly focus it on the ends as that’s where I get the most amount of dryness. If you have any amount of frizziness to your hair, this is definitely something worth checking out.
FENTY BEAUTY WE’RE EVEN LONGWEAR CONCEALER – $46.00
OK, Fenty, I forgive you. I was going to talk about this in my next Bite Size Reviews. But I may as well talk about it now. Because this concealer freaking rules. It’s quite reminiscent of my beloved Tower 28 Swipe Concealer. But the formula of the We’re Even leans less serumy and more creamy. But it has the same full coverage and once it’s on, it doesn’t budge on me. If you’re on the more mature or drier side, I can see you really loving this concealer.
RARE BEAUTY BROW HARMONY FLEXIBLE LIFTING GEL – $30.00
I bought this purely because of the hype. And you were all correct. This stuff is amazing. First of all, I love the teeny tiny brush on this. I’m able to comb through my brow hairs without getting product all over my forehead. The formula itself is incredible. It has a great amount of hold without slipping into crunchy brow territory. And it leaves my brows in place all day long.
HUDA BEAUTY FAUX FILLER GLOSS – $33.00
I have waited literal years for Huda Beauty to release a proper gloss formula. And these were worth the wait. First of all, the colours chosen for this range? Stunning. The formula? So glossy and smooth. And they really do give that juicy plumping effect without the pain and sting of a chili or mint infused formula. The two shades featured are Posh and Foxy. And I have seen these shades look incredible on everyone who wears them. I cannot recommend this formula more.
So, that’s a wrap on the beauty faves. Here are some of my other faves!
REMEDY SOADLY NO SUGAR SOFT DRINKS (Woolies, Coles)
Since September last year, I have been limiting myself to only one can of Coke No Sugar every second day (if you knew me as a teenager, you would know that that is a significant achievement). But I still like having a sweet treat to drink every now and again. I was recommended these Sodaly Soft Drinks by a mate. And they are so good! The perfect little pick me up during my lunch break. The Raspberry has been my favourite for a while but I recently discovered the Yuzu Lemon and that one is everything I could possibly want out of a lemon flavoured drink. A pack of 4 is $6.00. But I have seen them go on sale from time to time.
CHALLENGERS (in cinemas/rent on Amazon)
Y’all, I don’t know where to begin with this one. You know the feeling when you leave a movie theatre knowing you’ve seen something truly special? That’s how I felt after watching Challengers. I’ll be light on the plot details. It is truly best experienced with little to no knowledge of what’s happening. But what I will say is that this is a film that hangs on the performances of it’s three leads. And they all knocked it out of the park. You can cut the tension between Zendaya’s Tashi, Faist’s Art, and O’Conner’s Pat with a knife. And I was on the edge of my seat during the whole thing. This is still my movie of the year and I doubt anything will top it….
ABIGAIL (in cinemas/rent on Amazon)
Yes, I have two movies in my favourites. I didn’t want to say Bridgerton until Part 2 came out and House Of The Dragon doesn’t premiere for another three weeks. Sue me. Besides, I saw Abigail for my Birthday this year and it freaking rules! My favourite horror movie of 2024 so far. Basic premise, six criminals hold the daughter of a mysterious oligarch ransom for 24 hours in order to collect a huge payday. But the little girl, our titular Abigail, is holding a deadly secret of her own. This was done by the Radio Silence guys, who also did the incredible Ready Or Not back in 2019. So, big house, colourful characters, and tons of blood. This was a blast.
And those are my Autumn favourites! I hope that the Winter seasons continutes to be awesome. Let me know about some of your recent faves down below.
Cheers and love

I’m so tempted to buy the Fenty Concealor now.
Might be worth grabbing during the next sale
