Emmie Reviews – Glam Raider’s Glamlite Mystery Box

As you guys might know, at the end of last year, I made the decision to skip out on the 2024 Beautylish Lucky Bag. And I know that a lot of you were disappointed by that choice as you enjoy my commentary on those bags. So, I figured when Glam Raider launched their Mystery Boxes last week that this would be a good compromise.

Basically, several times throughout the year, Glam Raider will do different varieties of Mystery Boxes. Sometimes they are assorted brands in the one box. Other times, it’s one brand per box. Which is what they did this time. They had eight Mystery Boxes available from brands such as Lunar Beauty, XO Beauty, Kim Chi Chic Beauty, BPerfect, and the one I chose, Glamlite. I went with the Glamite box because it’s a brand that I’ve quite enjoyed and have wanted to try more of. The Mystery Box was $110.00 and contains $216.00 worth of product. My box arrived on Monday and I’m so excited to share what I got.

I was going to do this in the order from least excited to most excited. But I pretty much loved everything that I got. So, I’m going by collection. First up, Glamlite X Garfield. I got the GLAMLITE X GARFIELD ARLENE LASHES – $18.00 and the GLAMLITE X GARFIELD SLEEPING MASK – $25.00. I’m not too fussed on the lashes. But the sleeping mask is so stinking cute! I’m actually a massive Garfield fan going all the way back to my childhood, so I’m pretty delighted that I got something from this collection.

Next up, we are getting into the slashers with the Glamlite X Friday The 13th collection. I also got two items from this. The GLAMLITE X FRIDAY THE 13th JASON VOORHEES BRUSH SET – $32.00 comes with four eye brushes that feel super luxe. The GLAMLITE X FRIDAY THE 13th JASON LIVES HIGHLIGHTER – $24.00 is something I almost bought when the collection first came out. It’s a clear base with a blue/silver shift and it’s stunning! Fun Fact, my favourite Friday The 13th movie is Jason X. Haters will say I’m wrong. But that movie rules.

Only one item each from the Glamlite X A Nightmare On Elm St and the Glamlite X Chucky collections. But I actually have a few things from each collection already. And these were two that I didn’t already have. The GLAMLITE X A NIGHTMARE ON ELM ST KILLER LIP OIL – $18.00 is a shiny smooth formula with a hint of red. And the GLAMLITE X CHUCKY CHUCKY LIP SET – $26.00 comes with a midtone brown lipstick and a brown lip liner. Both of these are stunning and I can’t wait to wear them. Just as an aside, if you’re not watching the Chucky TV series, you need to be!

Finally, we have the Glamlite X Ghost Face collection. And when I saw the GLAMLITE X GHOST FACE MIRROR – $46.00 in my box, I just about screamed! I have been trying for ages to get my hands on this. And it was always sold out whenever I would check. But now I have it and I’m over the moon! I also got the GLAMLITE X GHOST FACE BLOOD LIP KIT – $27.00 which comes with a bold red lip tint and a deep red lip liner. While I’m not a huge red lip girlie, the shade is so different to anything else I have in my collection. And I’ve heard great things about Glamlite’s lip tint formula.

Because I know I’m going to be asked, I have a few sneaky swatches for you as well!

Overall, I’m so happy with everything that I got. The Ghost Face Mirror and the Chucky Lip Kit are the stand outs for me. But this is something I would definitely do again. The Glamlite Mystery Box is sold out at the time of writing (most of the Mystery Boxes are). But all of the products featured are in stock now. Would you get a Glam Raider Mystery Box?
