Happy Tuesday, y’all! We are once again venturing into the weird and wonderful world that is my shower. And I’m shining my spotlight on three of my current showertime faves. Let’s dive on in.
TBH SKINCARE NO SCRUBS JELLY CLEANSER – $32.95
My strike rate with TBH Skincare is pretty good. I’ve liked pretty much everything that I’ve tried up to this point. And that affection continues with their new No Scrubs Jelly Cleanser. Which I have been loving as a first cleanse as of late. Texture wise, it’s unlike any makeup remover that I’ve ever tried. It has that squishy, jelly texture that reminds me more of what I would use as a second cleanse. But, as you apply it to your face and add water, it takes on that milky texture that I recognise. And this stuff breaks down everything. It even broke down waterproof mascara with ease. Take a bow, TBH. You constantly raise the bar.
SOL DE JANERIO BEIJA FLOR BODY WASH – $43.00
Now, Emily, did you seriously spend that much money on a body wash? Yes, Yes I did. I’ve said previously that Cheirosa 68 is my favourite fragrance in the Sol De Janerio range. And when I was scrolling through Mecca in a moment of weakness, this body wash ended up in my cart. Now, I can somewhat justify this purchase because this body wash does have some fun skin benefits. There is vegan squalane, which is great for boosting hydration. And flower acids for gentle exfoliation. But let’s be real, the main reason why I got it is the smell. And it is incredible. Plus when I use this in conjuction with my Beija Flor Elasti-Cream, it’s a double dose of deliciousness. I will say though, on it’s own, the scent does hold and linger for a while. If you ever want to really treat yourself in the shower, this is worth picking up.
EZPEN UNWIND SHOWER BALM – $16.00
We all understand the importance of moisturising after showering. Hot water naturally dries out our skin and we need to add moisture back in to prevent dry/scaly skin. But if you’re anything like me and you procrastinate before bed, sometimes the last thing you want to do is wait for the moisturuser to absorb into your skin. Which is why I’ve been adoring the Ezpen Shower Balm over the last few months. After I wash my body, I’ll slather this all over. Mainly focusing on my arms and legs. I’ll wait a minute or two to let it works it’s magic and then rinse off the excess. Badabing Badaboom, I’m ready to dry off and head to bed. And it always leaves my skin feeling super smooth and bouncy. I’m actually almost out of this and I’ll certainly be picking up another tub.
And that is a wrap on my shower faves! I hope you have an amazing week and I’ll see you on Friday.
Cheers and love
Emily xo
