Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! Today is a day of love, of affection, and of making your significant other weak in the knees because of how delectable you smell! I have three fragrances that I want to talk about today. And all three are hubby approved (ask me how!)
PHLUR DRAGONFRUIT BODY MIST – $74.00 for 235ml

I know that I just did the Sol De Janerio write up last week. But if I’m being honest, this is the body spray I’ve been wearing the most this year so far. If you want to smell like the juiciest fruit imaginable, Dragonfruit Body Mist from Phlur is your girl. That Dragonfruit note smacks you right in the face. It’s so fruity and fun. The Peony and Vanilla add a floral sweetness to the mix as well. And for a body mist, the wear is pretty impressive. I particularly love to pair this with the Delicia Drench Body Butter from Sol De Janeiro to really boost the vanilla sweetness.
KAYALI YUM BOUJEE MARSHMALLOW EDP – $171.00 for 50ml

This one I already did a first impressions of over on my Instagram. But now that I’ve had it for a few months, my thoughts have evolved. If you’re a sweet, fruity gourmand girly, you need to own this yesterday. This is a category of fragrance that Kayali does so well. The sweetness of the Strawberry and Raspberry, the fluffiness of the Marshmallow, the creaminess of the Coconut and Whipped Cream. It just amalgamates perfectly! This is the date night perfume of your dreams.
PARFUMS DE MARLY ORIANA EDP – $498.00 for 75ml

I remember the day that Oriana became a bucket list scent for me. It was June 2021, a customer had come into work to look around. And I was immediately taken by how incredible her fragrance was. I asked her what she was wearing and she said she couldn’t remember the name. Just that it was from Parfums De Marly and it was a pink bottle. Did some sleuthing once she left. And was quickly able to narrow it down to Oriana from the notes.
After I finished weeping over the price, I knew that one day, I would own this fragrance. And now that I have it, it’s even better than I remember. This, to me, is the fruity, fluffy gourmand final boss. A little bit goes such a long way. I can spritz both my wrists in the morning and can still smell it on me at 5pm. It’s zesty from the citrus, but fluffy from the Marshmallow (can you tell I love a Marshmallow notes?). It as a hint of a floral musk as well that compliments it so well. I can maybe see this one being divisive. But this is a fragrance that I’ll be treasuring for a long time.
