Well then, I think I outdid myself last month.
That’s right, we are back with yet another empties. And she is a mega empties, to be sure. I basically used up half of my skincare routine in one month! (Thank god I have back ups). So, because this is a big one, let’s get into it!
REPLICA BY MAISON MARGIELA BUBBLE BATH EDT – $125.00 for 30ml
Guess who’s finally making a conscious effort to use up her perfume samples? This guy! First up, how I still don’t own this one, I have no idea. It is one of the best clean scents I’ve ever tried. Replica can be hit or miss. But this one hits it out of the park.
MAISON FRANCIS KURKDJIAN AQUA VITAE FORTE EDP – $370.00 for 70ml
Out of the Aqua series from MFK, this was my least favourite. A little too woodsy for my liking.
KAYALI UTOPIA VANILLA COCO EDP – $165.00 for 50ml
I often get asked if there are any Kayali fragrances I don’t like. Invite Only and Utopia are the two you will never see me own. I’ve talked about my thoughts on Invite Only in the past. In the case of Utopia, I find the coconut note to be too present for my liking. Coconut is my fragrance kryptonite and I genuinely hate is as a note.
LANEIGE GLOWY MAKEUP SERUM – $45.00
This one I had sitting around for longer than I’m willing to admit. But I finally used it up and I’m pretty stoked. If you want the effect of the Glow Recipe Dew Drops but you aren’t wild about the smell of watermelon, this is a real hidden gem that has a similar effect.
HERO COSMETICS THE MIGHTY PATCH – $13.00
You already know. Skin breaky outty, this helps. I also gave a sheet of these to my brother. He likes them too.
MECCA MAX BEAUTY BULLET FLAWLESS SPHERE – $10.00
It’s been 6 months. So it’s time to retire this one. I already have 3 spare ones. It’s still my favourite sponge.
THE ORDINARY MULTI PEPTIDE + HA SERUM – $53.00*
This I used up early in March. Lovely consistency and worked well with my skin. A classic for a reason.
REXONA CLINICAL PROTECTION ANTI PERSPIRANT CREAM – $14.00
I still don’t wanna hear it from you natural deodorant girlies. It was a shocking summer. And this stuff WORKS!
FRESH BLACK TEA ADVANCED AGE RENEWAL EYE CREAM – $118.00*
This had been my go to eye cream for the evening for a while and I genuinely loved it. A very luxe feeling eye cream, it made my under eyes look so smoothed out. I would actually get this again.
BUBBLE LEVEL UP BALANCING MOISTURISER – $28.00
Kinda gutted that this was an empty because I really did enjoy it. But seeing as the seasons are slowly beginning to change here, I may have used it up at the right time. Another one I would repurchase.
SIBLING EARLY RISER EYE CREAM – $79.00*
And this was my morning eye cream. While I was a fan of this, I wasn’t wild about the pump packaging. I found that the opening would always be slightly blocked with product. And there would always be a dried out bit of eye cream in every pump. A tube style packaging might solve this issue. But it could also be a case of personal preference. In any case, I did like this and I would buy it in the future.
OUAI FINE TO MEDIUM HAIR TREATMENT MASQUE – $38.00
Another empty from the Revolve calendar. And as soon as it’s back in stock and I’ve run out of my current hair mask, I will be buying this. So deeply nourishing. And it has the iconic Ouai scent to boot.
URBAN JUNGLE HUMP DAY CLAY MASK – $36.00
Speaking of masks, this is the second tub of the Hump Day mask that I’ve finished. This is the one I use when I have a little extra time on my hands. Also, I love the way this smells.
ALPHA-A MELTING MOMENT CLEANSING BALM – $70.00
I can now see why this is such a fan favourite on Instagram. It breaks down everything and doesn’t leave a film on my face after I rinsed it off.
TOWER 28 SOS DAILY RESCUE FACIAL MIST – $46.00
Bottle number 4 down. I’m so tempted to buy the 473ml next and just use that to top up this bottle. I adore this stuff. Especially when I’m breaking out.
HAIRIFICATION PURE GROW SHAMPOO – $25.00
Another fan favourite empty here. And I already have a back up that I was kindly sent from Hairification. Try this range, you won’t regret it.
TBH SKIN SKIN SHADY SPF 50+ MOISTURISER – $39.95
*TGA Declaration: Purchased Myself* My favourite sunscreen for wearing under makeup. Gorgeous texture that doesn’t feel like it’s sitting on the skin.
NO. 7 FUTURE RENEWAL SERUM – $67.99*
Finally, this I was surprised to see empty. As I felt like I hadn’t been using it for very long. In any case, I quite enjoyed it and I did notice a difference in my skin’s texture.
And that is a wrap on my empties! Like I said, I used up a lot. But that gives me an opportunity to try out new things. Which is a good thing! Anyways, I’ll be back on Friday this week (going back to normal scheduling). And as always, let me know what you used up in the comments.
