What I Would Buy – Mecca Edition

Posted on May 27, 2025May 26, 2025 by emmiesbeautylifeadmin

Late last year, Mecca announced that they would be making a huge change to their Beauty Loop Program. Instead of receiving a birthday gift in the form of a product from one of Mecca’s in house lines, Beauty Loop Members would now receive a gift voucher instead. Level 1 Members would get a $20 voucher, Level 2 would get $30, Level 3 would get $50, and Level 4 would get $70 (I know that there is an ultra exclusive Level 5. I have no idea what their bonus is)

This change was widely praised amongst Beauty Loop Members. Mecca is known for not doing regular sales. So, a bonus like this can go along way. I very recently got my Level 3 bonus for my Birthday *36 baby!*. And for a little bit of fun, I figured I would share my picks for what I would get at each level. Besides, I almost never talk about Mecca on here in a sales context on here. Let’s get into it.

LEVEL 1 – $20 Voucher
Ok, I’ll be the first to admit that $20 doesn’t get you super far at Mecca (you don’t even qualify for shipping). Having said that, I didn’t have to think too hard for picks. And yes, they are all from Mecca’s home brand, Mecca Max. First up, the MECCA MAX SINGLE SHADOWS – $10.00. Criminally underrated as far as quality goes. The shade Double Jinx (top shade) is particularly special for a one and done eyeshadow.

My second pick would be any one of the MECCA MAX OFF DUTY BLUSH STICKS -$20.00. I have a few of these that I wear very frequently. Super pigmented and they blend like a dream. Finally, the MECCA MAX GLAZE PHASE LIP OIL – $16.00. A newer release from Mecca Max that I personally feel have flown under the radar. And they are so light and silky on the lips.

LEVEL 2 – $30 Voucher
My first pick for this category came to me instantly. The TOWER 28 SHINE ON LIP JELLY – $28.00. This is, by far, my favourite lip gloss formula. And the shade range is phenomenal. For my body care girlies, the FRANK BODY GLYCOLIC ACID SCRUB – $28.00 is my shower time go to for silky smooth skin. And if you’re a fan of sparkle, the HALF MAGIC EYESHADOW SINGLES – $23.00 have become a recent obsession of mine. In particular, the shade Blushing Lizard has the most insane reflect. I cannot recommend them enough.

LEVEL 3 – $50 Voucher
I’m a fragrance girl at heart, so I have to shout out the SOL DE JANEIRO BODY MISTS – $42.00. I’ve done a whole post about my faves from them (which you can find here). But if it were up to me, I would have to choose either Cheirosa 40 or 59. Both are absolutely gorgeous. Moving onto a lip pick, I’ve recently fallen back in love with the MAC MACXIMAL SILKY MATTE LIPSTICK – $40.00. My go to shades as of late have been Cool Teddy and Folio for a cool tone moment. My last pick for this section has to be the TOO FACED CLOUD CRUSH BLURRING BLUSH – $54.00. Yes, they are more than the voucher. But the formula of these is so good, I’d pay the extra.

LEVEL 4 – $70 Voucher
Let’s be real, if you’re at Level 4, you’ve probably tried everything from Mecca already. But allow me to suggest a few faves that you might have missed over. The GLOW RECIPE CLOUDBERRY ESSENCE TONER – $66.00* is very underrated in Glow Recipe’s line. It adds a huge boost of moisture to the skin and brightens over time. The HOURGLASS PHANTOM GLOSSY BALM – $66.00 were hugely viral back in the day for a reason. They make your lips look so full and plump. Lastly, the KOSAS CLOUD SET BAKED SETTING POWDER – $63.00. Again, this one is pretty popular. But if you somehow haven’t tried it, you absolutely should. It’s one of the finest blurring pressed powder’s I’ve ever tried.

And that’s a wrap on my Mecca picks! That was a lot of fun. Let me know what you picked up with your birthday voucher in the comments.

Cheers and love
