By the time you’re reading this, I’ll already be in Brisbane on my way to Melbourne! But the empties rest for no one. These are my thoughts on what I used up in the month of May.
BIODANCE BIO COLLAGEN REAL DEEP MASK – $37.50 for pack of 4
Now that winter has really begun to set in, this mask has become an essential. The difference in my skin is so noticeable. I wish I had these for my wedding day skin prep.
LANEIGE LIP SLEEPING MASK CHOCOLATE – Discontinued
After 40 billion years, I finally managed to use this up. Listen, the Laneige Lip Masks are classics for a reason. But you only need one at a time. This specific one was limited edition, and as a result, long since sold out. But I have my eye on the Gummy Bear one next.
REVLON FACE DEFUZZERS – $16.95
Note to future self. Stop buying name brand face defuzzers. Buy some from Daiso.
GO TO SKINCARE CLARIFYING FACE HERO – $56.00*
I just raved about this in my previous favourites. So, hit that up for the details. Without question, I will be repurchasing this.
BENEFIT MIGHT FINE BROW PEN – $48.00
OK, this was my bad. I thought I put the cap on properly after I used it and it dried out. And it’s a huge shame because I was really enjoying it. It does make brow filling so simple. I did immediately repurchase it so I could give it a proper go.
GLAM BY MANICARE BRUSH ON NAIL GLUE – $11.59
As you may know, I wear acrylics. So I keep this around if my nail falls off in one piece. For that, it does the job. I usually get 4-5 days before the glue wears off. And if that seems short, please keep in mind that my hands are always in fish tanks for work.
MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL FIREWORK MASCARA – $28.99
2024 Best In Beauty Winner for a reason. Easily in my top 2 as far as Maybelline mascara’s go.
SOL DE JANEIRO DELICIA DRENCH BODY BUTTER – $39.00
Sometimes I would just open this empty pot just to smell it because it’s that good. I have a few too many body creams still to use before I repurchase this one. But I absolutely will be.
GROWTH BOMB STRENGTHING HAIR MASK – $24.99
Probably one of the better drugstore hair masks I’ve tried. I didn’t use it frequently enough to notice a difference as far as strength goes. But it did leave my hair so soft and conditioned. One thing I will note is that it does smell like pineapple lollies. And it is a scent that lingers for a while. Make of that what you will.
BORING WITHOUT YOU FOR FACE SAKE MULTI MASK – $54.00
Tub number 3 down. She’s still an icon.
TBH SKINCARE REBOUND SKIN MILK ACTIVATED CICA TONER – $29.95
The milky toner that broke the internet. And for such good reason. Hannah and Rach cooked with this one. And I will be repurchasing. If I can find it, that is.
TBH SKINCARE NO SCRUBS MAKE REMOVING JELLY CLEANSER – $32.95
It’s interesting. I really liked this the first time I had it. But now that I’ve used it up again, I’m not so sure. Something about the texture just didn’t hit right this time around. I probably will purchase again one more time and see if my opinion changes again.
DAISO PUFF SPONGE DETERGENT – $3.00
I know, I know, I just had this in my empties. This was apparently a half empty one I had in the back of my cupboard. Not sure if this is one that I just stopped using or if it’s leaked (both are viable options).
E45 MOISTURISING LOTION – $12.00*
Good to the last drop! E45 is another one of those *classic for a reason* brands that just does what they do right.
LOOPHA OUD + AMBER HAND AND BODY WASH – $42.60
OK, quick introduction for those who might not know. Loopha is Deciem’s newest body care range. Mostly specialising in body washes. I picked this up during the Slowvember sale just to give it a go. Right off the bat, this scent is amazing. And I say that as someone who generally doesn’t like Oud. My issue lies with the texture. This is a very thick, gel like texture. I found it difficult to pump out on occasion. And even more difficult to lather evenly. Adding some of my residual shower oil into the bottle did thin things out enough to make it easier to use for me. But I’m not sure I would get again. Certainly not at full price.
THE BEAUTY CHEF DEEP MARINE COLLAGEN – $79.00
This has quickly become my collagen of choice. I add it to my coffee of a morning. Blends in well. I have no complaints.
THE BEAUTY CHEF THE PERFECT POO – $59.00
Another one that I talked up in my favourites. I have already repurchased both this and the collagen.
GARNIER HYDRATING CLEANSER – $20.99
Worth all of the hype I’ve seen online. It’s so gentle and hydrating on the skin. I have a few too many cleansers in my stash to repurchase this immediately. But I definitely will.
