Wow, y’all! My Bite Size series is celebrating it’s sweet 16. And you’re the one getting the presents. The presents being my not at all filtered opinions of some of the beauty standouts from my 20th Beauty Stash. Let’s not waste any time and dive on in!

GO TO VERY MATTIFYING PRIMER – $48.00
It was only a matter of time before Go To dipped their toe into the makeup realm. And if this primer is anything to go off of, they are going to be extremely successful. Texture wise, you would swear this was a more hydrating formula with it being more on the liquid side. But for me, The Very Mattifying Primer does an excellent job at smoothing my base, controlling my oiliness, and keeping my foundation on lock throughout the day. I can definitely see this becoming a summer staple.

QUICK FACED 2 in 1 INVISIBLE OIL CONTROL AND SETTING POWDER SPRAY – $20.00
Easily one of the more talked about Aussie Beauty launches, the Quick Faced Setting Powder Spray is one that I’m very much in two minds about. I don’t necessarily like this as a powder replacement after I’ve initially done my makeup. It’s a little too much powder for my liking. But once my foundation has been on for 4-5 hours and that shine has really broken through, this stuff is phenomenal. I probably should keep a can of this at work so I have it on hand. The other nitpick I have is that I feel like I’ve gone through this very quickly. I only bought this in November and it’s almost empty. So, something to keep in mind.

TOO FACED BETTER THAN SEX MASCARA – $50.00
I first reviewed this mascara back in 2019 (you can find that here). Seven years later, yep, still terrible. My thoughts have not changed one little bit. I have no idea how, in the big year of 2026, the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is still one of the best selling mascaras in the world. I can name so many mascaras that are better than this one. Lancome Monsieur Big, Maybelline Falsies Lash Lift, L’Oreal Paradise, Benefit Fan Fest. Hell, Too Faced has a better mascara in their own line with the Ribbon Wrapped Lash. We live in a time where brands are releasing so many incredible mascaras. We don’t need to keep returning to this one. And before anyone clocks me for being hypocritical in even having this mascara, I got this in an advent calendar.

GO TO GLOWY BLUSH – $26.00
Not content to have one of the best primer launches of 2025, Go To just had to outdo themselves with the Glowy Blush. I’m usually not a liquid blush kinda gal, but my goodness, are these so easy to use. They aren’t overly pigmented. Which I’ve learned I tend to prefer. But once they are on, they last all day on the skin without breaking down or losing their glow. I know that these were meant to be limited edition. But I hope that Go To changes their mind. Because this formula is too gorgeous to lose.

MECCA MAX OFF DUTY CONTOUR STICK – $22.00
Another one that I reviewed long ago. Back when they first launched, I recall. But seeing as they have once again expanded the shade range, I figured it was a good time to revisit the Off Duty formula. And you know what? It’s still solid. It’s not the creamiest formula on the planet. But it makes up for it by being a dream to blend out. My preferred way of applying the Off Duty sticks is to warm it up on the back of my hand, and then use a brush to stipple it onto the face. The dry down is so powder like and natural on the cheeks. It’s still a favourite for a reason.
And that is a wrap on my Bite Size Reviews! I hope you enjoyed this edition. And I’ll catch you on Friday!
Cheers and love
