Well, almost two months later, I am finally back with my other Fenty Skin Tint review. As you may remember, the Skin Tint Stick was something of a disaster (you can see that review here). So, let’s find out of the liquid version is any better!
FENTY BEAUTY EAZE DROP BLURRING SKIN TINT – $54.00 – sephora.com.au
*25 shades available*
Ok, let’s kick this off with the packaging. The Fenty Eaze Drops are housed in a small, geometric style bottle made of soft touch plastic. The bottle itself is coloured to it’s corresponding shade. And the lid and detail are a shiny white, like most of the packaging for Fenty’s face products. For skin tint’s in particular, one of the things I look out for is functionality. And the Eaze Drops are a good option to take out on the go. The Eaze Drops are cruelty free and contains 32ml of product.
Like many of the skin tint’s I’ve tried, the Eaze Drops uses a dropper style dispenser. And it’s one of the better ones I’ve encountered over the years. Because the bottle isn’t too firm, I’m able to dispense product pretty easily. But as you can see, it can get a touch messy.
I was tempted to copy and paste this next bit from my previous Fenty Skin Tint review. Because it will be more or less the same info. But for those in the cheap seats, the Fenty Eaze Drops come in 25 shades. With one shade from this line corresponding with anywhere between 1-4 shades in the standard Fenty Foundation line. The Fenty website has a handy guide to help pick your shade. Like the Eaze Drop Stick, I wear shade 2, Light with Neutral Undertones. It’s honestly a better match now that it’s winter and I’m not seeing the sun as much.
Let’s chat application now. And right off the bat, I had a much easier time applying this to the skin than the Eaze Drop Stick. The formula itself has some fluidity, but it’s not so runny that you have no time to blend it in. And it feels so silky smooth as you are blending. Speaking of blending in, fingers all the way, baby! I got the best finish and overall coverage using the warmth of my hands to smooth this onto my face. While the Fenty website does say you can use a brush, I wasn’t wild about the finish I got from using that. And same goes for a sponge. It just looked off.
The Eaze Drops are described as being a medium coverage with a blurred, yet natural finish. And I find it hard to argue with that. I would use a pea sized amount for all over my face. And then half that for additional coverage. I was legitimately surprised at how much coverage I got out of this. My skin just looked more even and smoothed out. But my freckles were still visible. It was also very lightweight feeling. Which is in stark contrast to the heaviness of the Skin Tint Stick.
Which brings us to the wear test. And fun fact, did you know that the Fenty Eaze Drops are apparently sweat, water, and transfer resistant? I learned that the hard way when a hose nozzle splashed my face the day I took these two pictures. The end result of that little incident was that this stuff held up incredibly! I just lightly patted the water off my face and kept going. My base didn’t budge. It also didn’t crack, sink into my lines or fade weirdly. I could have easily touched up and kept wearing this until bedtime if I had to go out.
Ok, Fenty. We’re all good again The Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint gets a thumbs up from me. Without question, one of the better skin tints that I’ve tried recently. And I definitely recommend it if you’re in the market for one. Have you tried the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint? Let me know in the comments below.
Cheers and love
