Last July saw the launch of the Huda Beauty Blush Filters. The brands first true foray into the realm of liquid blush. They were met with pretty much universal critical acclaim (I even named them as one of my Best in Beauty Winners for 2024). And the five shades they launched with were a fun variety of pinks, peaches, and berries to suit a wide range of skintones.
But never one to rest on her laurels, Huda was in the lab. And in less than a year since their initial launch, Huda Beauty has released six more shades of Blush Filter. More than doubling the range to 11 shades overall! Seeing as I did do a swatch-a-thon of the original five shades, I’ve had quite a few requests to do another swatch post for the new shades. And now that I have all six of them, I figured it was high time that I got to it.

MY THOUGHTS: Yeah, in case you couldn’t tell, I adore all of these new shades. While I thought the initial five were pretty well thought out, these newer shades add a real punch of brightness to the range. Especially the most recent Spring collection. I’ve seen so many POC Beauty Creators absolutely rock Intense Guava.
The shades from the Icy Nude collection are the ones I’ve been the most drawn to recently. Brown blush in general is such a hard shade to find. And it can look stunning on anyone (I have a video of me using Latte on my TikTok). But the real beauty is that they can just as easily be worn as a bronzer in their own right (which I have done with both shades).
The release of Ube Cream was a little controversial. As it is that bright, white based purple shade that isn’t the most inclusive (I’m shocked I can pull it of as well as I do). It also happened to come out soon after the YSL Liquid Blush backlash. I did see that when it was sent in PR for those with deeper skin tones that Black Cherry was sent alongside it to help deepen that brightness. Which is the kind of nice touch that I expect from Huda Beauty.
Overall, like I said before, these are all such fun and gorgeous additions to this range. And hopefully, there is a shade that speaks to you and your taste. I have actually swatched them down below for you.

And that is a wrap on the new Blush Filter shades! I can’t wait to see what shades Huda Beauty comes out with next. A head’s up, there will be no post on Friday for the Good Friday Public Holiday. So, I hope that everyone who celebrates has a great Easter. And I will see you again next Tuesday!
Cheers and love
