Here in Australia, we have access to so many incredible drugstore brands. With Maybelline, Revlon, Nyx, and L’Oreal all being popular amongst the Aussie beauty community. But there are still a few brands that I feel skirt under the radar. One of the those brands being Rimmel London. It might be because they are far more popular in the UK. But I don’t here about them nearly as much as I used to. Which is a shame because they have so many fantastic products in the range. So, today, I wanted to share my top picks from Rimmel. And who knows, maybe you might be inspired to try something new. Let’s get into it!
RIMMEL LONDON LASTING FINISH FOUNDATION – $26.95 – review here
I feel like I’ve gushed about this foundation a billion times on here. But I haven’t gushed about it a billion and one times. Easily one of my favoruite affordable foundations. Walks right up to the line of it being full coverage, but there is no heaviness or cakeiness. It wears like a dream and lasts ages without needing to touch up. A true favourite.
RIMMEL LONDON MULTI TASKER CONCEALER – $18.95
There aren’t many full coverage concealers at the drugstore that I enjoy. So, consider this extremely high praise. It’s a little too much for under my eyes. But as a spot concealer for discolouration, it does an amazing job at covering that up without making my existing base look too heavy.
RIMMEL LONDON MULTI TASKER BETTER THAN FILTERS – $29.95*
Out of all of the Hollywood Flawless Filter dupes that I’ve tried, this is still my favourite one. It adds the right amount of glow on it’s own to the skin without looking metallic. It also makes a great addition to a light coverage foundation to add a little something extra to the finish.
RIMMEL LONDON MULTI TASKER BRONZING STICK – $24.95 – review here
I just reviewed this in my last post. So I’ll keep it super brief. Fantastic formula, super easy to blend, and the tone is the right amount of warm without falling head into ass into orange town. It also comes in different shades as well!
RIMMEL LONDON KIND & FREE MULTI STICK – $19.95 – review here
Love these for a one and done makeup look. It’s an extremely adaptable formula. I love this on the cheeks and lips especially. Just swipe, blend, and go!
RIMMEL LONDON WONDER’LAST SHADOW STICK – $19.95
Now these are criminally underrated. I love a one and done eyeshadow look at the moment. This is the kind of formula that you can swipe, tap out with your finger, and be done within a few minutes.
RIMMEL LONDON THRILL SEEKER MASCARA – $24.95 – review here
I’m getting up to having reviewed 100 mascaras for this site. So the fact that the Thrill Seeker still stands out as a favourite says everything that needs to be said. Length, volume, definition. There are few drugstore mascaras that do it better.
RIMMEL LONDON LASTING FINISH LIP LINER – $12.95
The Cappuccino shade of these liners had a moment this last winter. But the entire line of these liners are one of my longtime secret weapons. They go on the lips so creamy. But once they’re on, they don’t budge.
RIMMEL LONDON THRILL SEEKER GLASSY GLOSS – $21.95
These last two are more recent faves. The Thrill Seeker glosses make my lips so juicy and shiny without any stickiness. The doe foot is also giant and is able to coat the lips in product easily. Best of all, they smell like candy!
RIMMEL LONDON OH MY GLOSS! BUTTER ME UP LIP BUTTER – $25.95
And these have quickly shot up the ranks of my favourite lip balm formulas. The Butter Me Up Lip Butter’s contain Squalane and Peptides to help soothe and nourish your lips. It’s the right hint of colour for the lips and they pair with the liners very nicely.
