Hey, Em, wasn’t there just a Sephora sale the other day?
Yes, dear reader. Yes there was. But this sale appears to be storewide. So we are doing this again.
That’s right, Sephora Australia is kicking off their annual Beauty Pass sale! This sale kicks off tonight at 10pm (unless you’re a gold member, then the sale has already started), and will be going until the 19th. Now, it appears that this sale will be similar to the Sephora US Savings Event that is also happening at the moment. Where there is no minimum spend (yay!). But the level of discount depends on what level member you are. In this case, White members get 10%, Black members get 15%, and Gold members get 20%. And also like the US sale, Sephora Collection products are 30% across the board.
So, that’s the premable, now it’s time to talk about the picks. Many of these were cuts I had to make from the last sale (you can find that post here). But I have a few newbies that I’m excited to share. So, let’s get into it!
HOURGLASS VEIL HYDRATING SKIN TINT – $86.00
So this is the reason why we are all so freaking excited for this sale. For the first time EVER, Hourglass is on sale in Australia. And Hourglass is a notoriously expensive brand here. So any discount is a good one. I have quite a few faves from Hourglass, but the Veil Skin Tint is one that I return to quite often (you can find my review here). Beautiful luminous finish with shocking good wear. I strongly recommend it for people who have more mature/drier skin.
HAUS LABS COLOR FUSE GLASSY BLUSH BALM – $59.00
This one will be featuring in my Friday Bite Size Reviews post. So consider this your spoiler. Yeah, these are fantastic. I find the formula of these quite easy to work with. My preferred method is applying some to the back of my hand and then stippling with a brush. It gives me the most even finish without disrupting the foundation underneath. I adore the wet glow this gives to the skin. And they wear much better on the cheek than you would expect them too. Having said that, if you’re oily, you’ll probably want to set them with a powder.
NATURIUM PHYTO-GLOW LIP BALM – $19.00
It’s not often that I come across a product that deserves more hype. And the Naturium Phyto-Glow balms need more hype. This has barely left my work shirt pocket since I got it back in November. I love pretty much everything about these balms. The formula isn’t too thick or too thin. The applicator makes it so easy to apply product. The kiss of colour it gives to the lips is perfection. I cannot get enough.
LANEIGE JUICEPOP BOX LIP TINT – $30.00
I know, another lip product. But I picked these up during the last sale and I have quickly become obsessed with them. The range of shades are so wearable and fun. They give a gorgeous glassy gloss effect to the lips. But once they have dried down, the stain effect has pretty solid wear and lasts a while on me. If you’re my complexion, the shade Popstar Peach is a must try.
THE 7 VIRTUES BUTTERCREAM HAZE – $46.00 for 10ml
I went back and forth on this one for months as to how I felt about it. Let’s just say, if I’m recommending it for a sales post, I do like it. It is a very different vanilla to what was advertised, in my opinion. Buttercream Haze is a sugary sweet, maple forward vanilla gourmand with a creaminess on the drydown that is utterly delectable. It’s not for everyone, but it is for me.
