One of my absolute favourite things about running this little dog and pony show of a website is hearing your suggestions on what to talk about. As a writer and creator, I always value your input and I more often than not get some greats ideas from y’all. But by far, one of the topics I’ve been most requested to talk about is anything Tower 28. And seeing as I’ve tried quite a few things from them now, I figured it was high time that Tower 28 got the One Brand Recommendations treatment.
Now, a quick note before I dive into the post proper. One of the questions I frequently get asked is where I, an Australian, get my Tower 28 from. Especially because the Tower 28 website doesn’t ship worldwide. I have purchased my entire collection from Revolve. The shipping turnaround is very quick for me, and they offer free shipping on orders over $150.00. I will note though that the pricing is dependent on the Aussie Dollar. So, the prices I have listed today might be different another day. Got it? Let’s do this.
TOWER 28 SOS DAILY RESCUE FACIAL SPRAY – $20.56
When Tower 28 first burst onto the scene back in 2019, the SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray quickly became a fan favourite. The primary ingredient in this is an organic compound called Hypochlorous Acid. Which, believe it or not, is actually a part of our own body’s defense system. The idea is that it triggers your skin into effectively healing itself and strengthening your skin barrier naturally. I’ve been using this primarily in my night time skincare routine. And I’ve noticed a significant difference in how red and angry my skin had previously been looking. If you have eczema or just have angry, temperamental skin, you will adore this. One thing I will note, it does smell a little like pool water. But it doesn’t linger enough to be annoying.
TOWER 28 SUNNYDAYS TINTED SPF – $54.82
This got the review treatment from me very recently. if you wanna get all the deets, I’ll link it here. But the short version? Absolutely fabulous, long wear skin tint that provides great coverage and looks so natural on the skin. It’s marketed as an SPF 30. I personally still wear sunscreen underneath. I shall be taking this with me to Sydney.
TOWER 28 SWIPE SERUM CONCEALER – $34.69
And I’ll be taking these too! God damn, Tower 28 crushed this concealer formula. The formula itself is very light and serumy. But it gives so much coverage. On me, it doesn’t cling to dry patches on my face. And while it still creases, it doesn’t crease nearly as much as a formula like this does with me. I love this with makeup. I love this on bare skin. I love it under the eyes. It’s probably the best concealer I’ve tried this year. And that’s saying a lot.
TOWER 28 MAKE WAVES MASCARA – $34.26
Another one that I’ve reviewed already (review here). This went totally viral on TikTok last year. And now having used it, I can see why. It lasted a full 9 hour shift without smudging, flaking, drooping or transferring. This is in my top three for the year (alongside the ELF Lash ‘N Roll and another mascara that I’ll be reviewing soon). And they have just launched a brown version which I’ll be buying the split second it pops up on Revolve (I swear, I’m not sponsered, just obsessed)
TOWER 28 SCULPTINO SOFT CONTOUR CREAM – $34.26
It kills me that I couldn’t include this in my cream bronzer post. As I had only just got it at the time at the time I wrote that. So, let it be known that the Sculptino is a freaking incredible cream contour. I have the shade Getty (shade no. 2). And the undertone is pretty much spot on for someone with my complexion. Not too warm, not too cool. It looks so natural. I like this best with a dense buffing brush (Mecca Max makes a great one). And the formula blends so well without lifting my existing makeup.
TOWER 28 BEACH PLEASE LUMINOUS TINTED BALM – $34.26
Now these are just so fun! If there is one product I insist you all try today, it’s the Beach Please balms. The colour range is very expansive. There really is a shade for everyone. I have the shades Dream Hour (Bright Pink), Golden Hour (Orange), And Office Hours (Mauve). Best of all, they are truly the most foolproof, easy to apply cream blushes that I’ve ever used. You can be as light or as heavy handed when applying these as you like. They are extremely buildable. And much like the aforementioned Sculptino, these apply without lifting your existing makeup .
TOWER 28 ONELINER MULTI-LINER – $25.70
I love me a multi-use product. And the OneLiner’s are exactly that. These adaptable pencils can be used all over the face. Lips, cheeks, eyes, you name it! I have the shades Draw Me (Deep Brown), which I adore smudged under the eyes for a smokey eye look. And Work Of Art (Nude) as the most perfect lip liner.
TOWER 28 SHINE ON LIP JELLY/ SHINE ON MILKY LIP JELLY – $27.41
I’m counting these as one because they are basically the same formula. The main differences being that the regular Lip Jelly’s are glossy with sheer pigment. And the Milky Lip Jelly’s are semi-sheer with slightly more pigment. Both formulas, however, leave the lips looking so juicy and glossy. Without feeling sticky or heavy.
TOWER 28 JUICEBALM TINTED LIP BALM – $27.41
However, if I’m not in a silly, glossy mood, these are the lippies that I’ve been wearing pretty much non stop this year. I have the shades Juicy (Pink) and Mix (Nude). Both of which are the more sheer shades. And these leave my lips so hydrated and smooth. They are ridiculously easy to slap on. And I just love them. I cannot wait for Tower 28 to bring out more shades.
And that is a wrap on Tower 28! I just love them so much. And I truly cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. Because I shall be buying it! Have you tried anything from Tower28? Let me know in the comments.
Cheers and love
Emily xo
